Guided meditation using the chakras and imagery of a forest. The intention is to help you let go of the energy, beliefs, and 'stuff' that you've been hanging on to that belongs to other people. Freeing your energy up to serve you better, helping to find a space of letting go and forgiveness for yourself and others. The music is from an ivy plant!

Transcript

This will be a meditation on giving people their stuff back.

Our intention is to choose one area,

One topic,

Or one person to make it simple.

You may come and do these meditations as many times as you need.

So begin by bringing that idea to mind.

If you need to take a moment and pause here until you have that,

Feel free to do so.

You're going to be considering a belief,

A topic,

It may be around money,

It may be around relationships.

You may not know exactly what it's about,

But you know it may be a feeling.

So if you've been feeling angry lately,

If you've been feeling sad lately,

You can simply call upon the emotion of that.

And we can work with that simplistically.

So begin by settling your body into a comfortable seated position,

Making sure that your body is bolstered and cushioned and snuggled in as beautifully as possible to make it so it can be comfortable and relax and let go,

Allowing the mind to open and our curiosity and our inner compass to guide us.

And simply start by closing your eyes and starting to take a few gentle,

Slow and deep breaths,

Allowing the exhale to move out of the body in its perfect timing.

Being gentle with your inhale,

Setting the intention that with each exhale,

You are simply allowing your body to relax deeper and deeper and that you're allowing the stresses of the day of your mind,

Of your body,

Of your week,

Of your year,

All simply to flow out of the body through the mouth.

Begin by bringing your awareness now to the root chakra,

The space at the base of the spine,

The tip of the tailbone and bringing to mind the beautiful color of red.

And simply sitting here in this beautiful color of red,

Becoming the observer and witnessing what is showing up here.

Is there a feeling,

An emotion,

A sensation?

Does the color shift or change?

Is it hard to see or is it bright or clear?

And in this moment,

We're just simply accepting as it is,

Not creating any change.

Begin to move your awareness now up into your sacral chakra,

The space between your belly button and the pubic bone and bringing to mind the color of orange.

Or you may want to connect to the sensation of water.

And again,

Stepping into that space of witnessing very simply,

Becoming aware of what this chakra looks like,

Feels like,

Sounds like.

Bringing your awareness up now into your solar plexus chakra,

The space right below that space of the rib cage.

Just underneath the diaphragm and bringing to mind a beautiful yellow orange or yellow color.

Continuing to be that witness.

What are the sensations that this chakra is showing up for you?

Bring your awareness now up into the center of the chest and the heart chakra,

A beautiful emerald green.

Pay particular attention to this one to see if there's anything that is in a protective space around this heart chakra of yours.

Again,

Simply noticing what are the feelings,

The sensations,

The images,

The colors.

Does it stay emerald green or does it change?

None of these answers are good or bad,

They just are.

Allowing a space of acceptance.

Moving now up into the throat chakra,

Right in that space,

Middle of the throat,

Connecting with a light blue.

Pay attention here to how your neck feels as well.

Do you notice any additional sensations?

Bringing your awareness now up into the third eye chakra,

A color of indigo blue purple,

Right between the eyebrows at the center of the forehead.

Maybe taking a breath here and allowing your forehead to soften,

Allowing the tension that sits in that space to be released through the breath.

And in this space we're going to set the intention to open our intuitive minds,

Our intuitive channels,

Allowing us to receive and journey just a little bit easier.

Moving now up into the crown,

The top of the head,

And coming into connection with either the beautiful color of purple or white or any combination of the two.

Again,

Simply being very curious to see how this is showing up.

Are there any feelings or sensations,

Any messages?

From this space here we're going to begin imagination.

So you're going to start by imagining a clearing in the center of a forest.

It can be daytime or nighttime.

You can be surrounded by big pine trees.

Maybe there's birch or aspen,

Or maybe you have no idea what kind of trees they are,

But they're beautiful.

Your imagination is allowed to play here.

They can be all sorts of colors and shapes and sizes.

Now imagine that there is a line drawn in the center of this clearing.

One side is yours.

The other side is for the other people that we're going to invite into this space,

Knowing that they are not allowed to cross this line and that anything they come with them stays on their side.

And anything you'd like to give back to them will move from your side to theirs and cannot move back to yours without your conscious choosing.

So bring to mind the challenge that you're having currently.

Again,

It may be a feeling,

It may be a concept,

It may be an idea,

It may be an experience.

Whatever it is,

Is perfect.

Now you're going to allow for the divine to assist you in this process.

You're simply going to ask for anyone and anything that is associated with negative beliefs,

With negative programming,

With thoughts,

Ideas,

And experiences that have shaped you in ways that may have been beneficial once upon a time,

But are currently not serving and supporting you.

You're going to ask that all of those people step forward up to that line and just imagine them filling that space.

And if you can't see them,

Just know that their energy is there and see if you can feel them.

And know that there may be some abstract pieces in here of again,

A thought or a feeling or a belief that may not necessarily be consciously attached to somebody else.

It may be consciously attached to something in society.

So if there's somebody who shows up that isn't quite making sense to you logically,

Suspend your logic and just accept.

There you go.

Nice work.

Now very,

Very simply,

You're going to be able to decide how you would like to give them their stuff back.

You can have any tool that your heart desires.

You can make it pretty.

You can make it ugly.

You can do whatever you want.

You can imagine that there's boxes that you fill all of that stuff into the box.

You can wrap it up,

Maybe even put a lovely little bow on it and approach the line and call the person forward.

And very lovingly and with a space and an attitude of gratitude,

Give them their box back.

And then simply go back and fill another.

Call the next person forward and give them their box back.

Do this as many times as you need to feel complete.

When you have given everybody their stuff back and feel complete with it,

Think about the things that they've done for you.

Thank all of them for showing up for you in this way.

Send them love and gratitude for how they've shown up in your world.

Even though it may have been painful,

Even though it may have been hard,

Even though it was not a fun experience,

We have gratitude.

We may even just have gratitude for the fact that it is simply over and we are complete.

Thank them for showing up.

Thank them for taking their stuff back and watch them walking away back into the forest or wherever they may have come and wherever they may need to go.

We are letting go of all of the hows,

The whats and the whys and letting their stuff be gone with them.

Now take a moment here and imagine your hand on your heart or even physically putting your hand right on your heart and sending yourself gratitude for letting all of that stuff go.

And we're going to take another moment to plant the seeds of what we want to see in life.

All of those beliefs that we've let go of,

What are the beliefs that we are now replacing?

All of that emotional stuff that we just let go of,

What are we now replacing that with?

If we let go of sadness,

How can we bring joy in?

What does that feeling of joy represent and how can we cultivate it?

You may not have the answers or know the answers right now.

We can simply set the intention and the ask that our lovely spirit guides,

Our lovely intuition will guide us to find these answers now that we are free from all of the old.

All of the stuff that does not belong to us.

Taking a moment here to take a few breaths and connecting into yourself to just see how you feel.

Did this bring up further emotion?

Do you feel lighter?

Do you feel heavier?

Imagine in this beautiful space of acceptance that there is no right and no wrong,

It just is.

And when you're ready,

Imagining yourself dropping down from this beautiful clearing in this beautiful forest,

Right back down into that crown chakra.

That beautiful white or purple or combination of white and purple light.

And then imagining a slide starting from the center of the chakra.

We're going to allow ourselves to slide down the slide and pass through each color.

Indigo,

Light blue,

Green,

Yellow,

Orange,

Red.

And as we get down into our beautiful red root chakra,

We are taking this energy,

This feeling,

This sense of completion,

And the sense of new beginnings.

As we feel ourselves getting more grounded and connected into our bodies.

Taking a deep breath here and feeling how your body receives it.

Feeling your belly pushing out,

Your ribs moving outwards,

Your chest moving upwards,

And then allowing the exhale to move through gently and slowly.

Setting the intention here to be grounded back into our body,

Back into the room that we are in,

Back into the space of presence.

Bringing your awareness to the soles of your feet and to the palms of your hands.

And then beginning to feel every aspect of your body.

Taking the time to move and stretch as your body sees fit.

Taking another deep,

Gentle breath.

Our meditation is now complete.

When you are ready,

You can open your eyes and come back fully and completely.
