
Reiki And Yoga Nidra Waterfall Meditation

This meditation features principals of Yoga Nidra and Holy Fire Reiki. Yoga Nidra takes us through specific sequencing to reach a state of deep relaxation. Then, while you are deeply relaxed and open, we give you an amplified Reiki visualization with music programmed for healing. It is both powerful and gentle and provides purification, healing, empowerment and guidance. All you need is a quiet setting and a pair of earphones.

Welcome.
It is our hope and intention to serve your highest self by combining two healing modalities,
Yoga Nidra and Ussui Holy Fire Reiki.
First,
I will prepare you with the stage of readiness.
You will set an intention and then move through a systematic relaxation opening your subconscious,
Peeling away energetic layers,
Covering your true self.
Jillian will then plant a beautiful seed of Holy Fire Reiki with a visualization and will then return to full awareness that much more nurtured,
Healed and empowered.
If you haven't already found the most comfortable position for you,
Please make any adjustments needed.
You may lie down,
Sit up,
Whatever's most comfortable for you.
Just close your eyes.
If you're lying,
Let your hands fall to the sides and let your ankles drop to the corners of your mat and let the floor hold you just as the earth holds the roots of a tree.
Feel the safety of the ground beneath you,
Feeling all the places that your body connects with the mat,
The blanket,
The floor,
Whatever's holding you.
And set the intention to be as still and present as possible.
Remind yourself,
I will not sleep,
But if you need to make any adjustments,
That's perfectly fine.
And if you happen to drift off,
That's okay too.
This is a practice that takes practice.
Do not fill yourself with worry about falling asleep or analyze if you're doing it correctly.
It is the intention that matters most.
The mind will be reminded of this practice throughout our session.
And the more you practice,
The more aware you'll become.
So as you lie here in savasana,
Take a deep breath.
And with that exhale,
Let go of any and all expectations.
And know that with each new breath you take,
Just being here is enough.
As you feel your body settle in even more,
Pay attention to the space around you.
Feel the temperature of the air floating across your skin.
Really be aware of those sensations and then let them drift.
Are there any internal messages of the body?
Any aches or pains?
A constant mental chatter perhaps?
Any anxieties or struggles of the day?
First we welcome them in.
Invite these thoughts,
These sensations,
And say thank you for being here,
For bringing these feelings to my attention.
And as each one comes,
Imagine putting them into a beautifully decorated box,
Folding each thought,
Each feeling,
And tucking them away,
Allowing them to rest,
Knowing you haven't ignored or avoided them.
You're merely giving them a place to rest while you refuel.
So take a moment and tuck those thoughts away.
And now,
With the new space that you've created,
We can take the opportunity to set a sankalpa,
An intention for today's practice,
For your way of life really,
A way that you want to feel that is simple in the present tense and positive,
Stated with feeling,
Belief,
And emphasis.
It could be something as simple as I am rested.
It could also be more pointed,
As in more and more I am embracing forgiveness over pain.
Take a moment.
See what comes up naturally.
And then,
Just as we did with your sensations and internal messages,
Let's fold up that sankalpa and tuck it away in another beautifully decorated box,
Knowing it's safe and tended to.
But now,
You can focus again on your physical body.
So we will begin the rotation of consciousness,
Where we take a trip through all the different parts of your body,
Swiftly bringing our mental attention from part to part,
Just long enough to imagine a drop of oil or a soft kiss on each part of the body before moving on to the next.
Take comfort knowing that no one part of the body is more deserving of attention than the other,
Every inch receiving the same gift of awareness and tenderness.
We will begin with the right hand thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
Little finger,
Palm of the right hand,
Right wrist,
Forearm,
Elbow,
Upper arm,
Right armpit,
Shoulder blade,
The right side of the chest,
The right side of the waist,
Right hip,
Right backside,
Right side of the groin,
Right thigh,
Right knee,
Right calf,
Right ankle,
Heel of the right foot,
Sole of the foot,
Top of the foot,
And now each toe on the right foot in turn,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
We move to the thumb of the left hand now,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
Little finger,
Palm of the left hand,
Left wrist,
Forearm,
Elbow,
Upper arm,
Left armpit,
Shoulder blade,
Left side of the chest,
Left side of the waist,
Left hip,
Left side of the groin,
And backside,
Left thigh,
Left knee,
Left calf,
Left ankle,
Heel of the foot,
Sole of the foot,
Top of the foot,
And now each of the toes of the left foot in turn,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
And now to the back,
Become aware of the right shoulder blade,
The left shoulder blade,
The right backside,
And left backside,
The full length of the spine,
The whole back together.
Now move to the front of the body,
The top of the head,
The forehead,
Both sides of the head,
The right eyebrow,
The left eyebrow,
And the space between the eyebrows,
The right eyelid,
The left eyelid,
The right ear,
Left ear,
The right cheek,
Left cheek,
The bridge of the nose,
And the tip of the nose,
The upper lip,
Lower lip,
Chin,
Throat,
The right side of the chest,
The left side of the chest,
The belly,
Groin,
The whole of the right leg,
The whole of the left leg,
The whole of the right arm,
The whole of the left arm,
The whole of the back,
Backside,
Spine,
And shoulder blades,
The whole of the front,
Abdomen,
And chest,
The whole of the body together,
Relaxed and present,
The whole of the body together.
See your whole body supported,
Rested,
The whole body.
Now bring your focus to your breath,
Feeling the natural flow of your breath in and out of your lungs,
No effort,
Whatever pace and depth feels good to you.
And as you breathe,
Pay attention to the movement of your belly,
Feeling it rise and fall with each breath in and out.
Really synchronize your breath with the movement in your belly,
And start counting your breaths backwards from 27 to 1,
Thinking to yourself,
27 belly rising,
27 belly falling,
26 belly rising,
26 belly falling,
25 belly rising,
25 belly falling,
And so on,
On your own now.
And if at any point you lose count,
Simply start again at 27.
You are awake and aware,
Counting slowly.
You can stop counting now wherever you are,
And move the focus of your breath to your nostrils.
Really bring your awareness to the air moving in and out of your nose now,
Awakening energy to every cell in your body,
And start the count again from 27 to 1,
27 breathing in through your nose,
27 breathing out,
26 breathing in,
26 breathing out,
25 breathing in,
25 breathing out,
And so on just as before.
Wuregumi.
You are alert and aware.
You can stop counting now wherever you are.
Stay alert.
There is no need for sleep.
There is only awareness.
Being aware of the spaces and places that hold you to the earth.
So imagine now that your whole body is increasingly heavy.
Feeling the edges of your body gently melting into the ground.
Surrendering your whole body that is heavy as steel.
And now release that sensation and imagine that the whole body is light as cotton.
See your whole body gently floating away from the floor with each breath letting go of the earth.
Feeling lighter,
Softer,
Weightless.
Let yourself move between those two sensations.
Feel your body melting into the floor,
Heavy as steel,
Unable to lift your arms or legs.
Feel the weight as fully as you can.
And then let it go and feel the sensation of a body so light,
Airy,
And free,
Hovering effortlessly above the floor.
Can you imagine now being both at the same time heavy as steel and light as cotton?
And letting go of those sensations,
I invite you to bring your awareness to the space between your eyebrows,
Your third eye.
Try to bring your feeling,
Your awareness,
Your emotion,
And imagination to each vision as fully as you can.
A burning candle,
A stormy night,
A circle of friends,
A tall palm tree,
A boat sailing on the water.
See the ripples.
An infinite ocean,
The sound of a bell ringing,
The crispness of biting into an apple,
Birds flying across a sunset,
A full moon,
And a rising sun.
Slowly let everything fade and imagine you are walking down a path in the most peaceful forest.
It's a beautiful day,
Warm and sunny.
As you breathe into yourself,
You breathe in the life energy of the forest,
And with each step that you take,
You feel the energy of the earth flowing up through the bottoms of your feet.
As you walk along,
You notice another path going off to the left,
And you feel compelled to follow this path.
Following the path,
You begin to hear the sounds of water rushing,
And splashing.
As you come to a clearing,
Before you is a beautiful,
Majestic waterfall with the most crystal clear water.
This waterfall creates a very inviting pool that you can easily wade through,
And is surrounded by tall rock and beautiful plant life.
As the water cascades upon itself,
You notice it is reflecting the most vibrant shades of purple,
Blue,
Green,
And red.
Walking closer,
You realize that this waterfall is very special,
And will offer you all the healing you need.
As you touch the water,
You see a shimmering light through the fall.
This waterfall is a beautiful,
Beautiful waterfall,
And it is a beautiful,
Beautiful waterfall.
As you touch the water,
You see a shimmering light through the fall.
This is no ordinary light.
This is the light of the holy fire.
Follow the light.
As you touch the water,
You realize that this waterfall is very special,
And will offer you all the healing you need.
As you touch the water,
You realize that this waterfall is very special,
And will offer you all the healing you need.
As you touch the water,
You realize that this waterfall is very special,
And will offer you all the healing you need.
As you touch the water,

Draw your awareness back inside,
To the light in your chest,
The light of your inner teacher.
Listen to what your heart has to say,
And remember your sankalpa,
Your resolve from earlier.
Repeat it three times,
With intention and total belief.
The practice of yoga nidra has now come to an end.
As I say the words,
Halyam tasat,
You will awaken if you've fallen asleep,
And we will come back to the physical body,
The physical breath.
Halyam tasat.
Little by little,
You will start to develop awareness of your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
You can start wiggling your fingers and toes.
Massage your head back and forth,
Slowly making your movements a little bigger,
A little fuller.
Become more and more aware of your surroundings,
Allowing the sounds,
Smells,
And temperature to come back into focus.
Keep your eyes closed,
But keep moving your body slowly,
Maybe bringing your knees to your chest or your arms outstretched.
I invite you to roll onto your right side for a few deep breaths before sitting up fully,
Supporting your head with your arm.
Take your time,
Moving at a pace that is comfortable for you.
After a few deep breaths,
Come to a seated position.
With your hands at your heart,
We extend our deepest gratitude.
We thank the Holy Fire,
And we ask anything that was released be left with the collective.
