Explore MeditationDan went to his first yoga class over 20 years ago simply to try to reduce his high blood pressure without pills. Up to that point, he had spent his life playing in punk bands and trying to make money, and he had just enrolled in law school. The yoga worked on his blood pressure but also had a profound effect on his spirit and his emotional health. He started a daily yoga practice, and after a few years added pranayama. Since then he has gravitated toward mindfulness meditation and insight meditation. He feels so blessed by these practices that he hopes to give back by recording a few meditations that have greatly benefited him but which don't seem to be available online yet. He hopes they will help others as they have helped him.
