Stephen Dalton has been creating Stories for Sleep and Meditations for years now. His mission is to help people find peace and sleep in this sometimes chaotic world. He loves his work and he loves to help people. He has always been passionate about the idea that we all deserve peace and we all deserve self love. He says "there is no shame in loving yourself and taking care of your inner life. In fact it is a very selfless act. By taking care of our inner lives, and our sleep of course, we are going to be better for those around us". Stephen trained as an actor at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He was destined for a life on stage and screen, but his mental health was not capable of coping with the pressure. As a result, Stephen took a step back from the limelight. It was at that point, around ten years ago now, that Stephen found Meditation and his love for the restorative benefits of Sleep. It was also at that point that he found his voice. Literally. Stephen realised that his voice had the power to heal and to bring peace to others. And that's what he has been doing ever since. Stephen's voice has found its place in the world and it is here, now, for you to enjoy.

Such kind, droll, unpretentious wit, paralleled with kindness and imagination. Most importantly, to me, no β€œick” vibes. Just integrity and a lovely voice and unique approach to sleep and how to consider one’s sleep.

You are so effective at helping me get to sleep that it took me several nights of listening to hear how the story ends. Thank you so much for sharing your unusual skill of writing stories that are both interesting and sleepy.

Brilliant! Thank you! Your voice is very soothing and I loved the humor! I wake up momentarily several times through the night and every time I did, I heard something to smile about and got right back to sleep. πŸ₯°πŸ™πŸ¬

It's great that you numbered the sheep. All of a sudden we were on sheep #35, when the last description i recalled was of sheep #8. This means that I fell asleep for a bit--which gave me the possibility that I could fall asleep again, which I did. I have no idea how many sheep there were. Thank you! πŸ‘πŸ Also, coincidentally, I'm going to our local Sheep & Wool festival tomorrow. I think I'll be seeing sheep in a different way!
