Arrive at a little old hotel in Paris on a rainy November afternoon. You’re welcomed
in from the rain and given the chair by a crackling fire while your room is made
ready. Sip hot chocolate, watch the quiet life of the salon, read from an old book
about Paris and listen to a short podcast about the city. Then go up to a round room
at the top of the tower, where a small fire is lit and the rain is on the windows, and
drift off to sleep.
