Good morning and welcome to your new day.

Let us begin the three simple daily steps that will set your intention and create a positive outlook.

Step one.

I would like you to think of someone or something that you are grateful for.

Take a moment and perhaps even consider a gentle smile as the positive emotions associated with your choice begin to emerge.

Placing one or both hands on your chest will enhance and deepen the feeling.

Let's spend a little time as you remind yourself how important giving thanks is to your daily well-being.

Step two.

I ask you now to consider an opportunity today where you can be of service to another.

A person,

An animal,

A plant.

Make a quiet commitment to show an act of kindness before your day ends.

What goes around comes back around.

Being kind brings happiness every time.

And step three.

Commit now to go easy on yourself today.

Relax.

Remember it's okay to say yes and it's okay to say no.

Practice self-care today.

It's not selfish.

It's essential.

And now take a few deep breaths.

And in the knowledge that all is well,

Look forward to embracing your day.
