I'm Ian Tucker.
Welcome to this gentle practice where we will use the benefits of Reiki to bring balance,
Rest and sleep.
No prior knowledge of Reiki is required,
Just your ability to let go and relax.
So to begin with,
I invite you to lie down and just gently focus on your breathing.
Have no expectations about how this session should unfold,
Just sense your connection to the surface below that supports you at this time.
Indeed,
It may help just to feel the gentle weight of your body as it's supported.
Continue to focus on your breathing.
There is no right or no wrong for how your breath should be.
Remember we're just letting go and allowing.
Allow me now to introduce the gentle healing benefits of Reiki to help us bring rest and sleep.
I'd like you to begin by gently placing your hands on your lap or pelvic area.
Again,
Just focus on your breathing,
Settling.
We will be sending Reiki to your root or base chakra.
This is the energy center that helps you connect to this moment,
To this space.
So let us now evoke the natural healing of Reiki.
With your eyes closed,
I would like you to repeat the following mantra three times.
I now connect to Reiki for my greatest and highest good.
I now connect to Reiki for my greatest and highest good.
Now take your attention or focus to the top of your head,
To your crown.
I would like you to sense or visualize that a warm,
Gentle,
Ambient light now moves down through the top of your head,
Safely into your head space behind the eyes,
Down through the neck shoulders,
Through the arms and into the palms of your hands as they rest gently against your lap or pelvic area.
Let's slowly go again to the top of your head,
Where the Reiki healing energy moves easily but purposefully down,
Perhaps like a mist or a fog or a warm elixir behind the eyes into the neck and shoulders,
Down through the arms and into the palms of your hands as they rest against your base chakra.
Reiki now flows for your greatest and highest good.
Let us set a simple intent that you wish to rest,
That you let go of any expectations about how this moment should be and ask that you are able to relax.
Reiki now flows down from the top of your head through your shoulders arms into the palms of your hands and now gently on to energize your body,
To energize,
Balance and remove any blockages from your base chakra.
Each moment that Reiki flows will gently connect you more and more to the intention of rest.
You may sense the warmth beneath your palms.
You may feel more connected to the space that you have chosen for this practice,
But have no expectations.
Simply set an intent to let go and allow Reiki to bring rest and sleep.
I would now like you to visualize that the gentle warm healing light of Reiki begins to radiate out from your base chakra,
From your pelvic area.
First of all it moves down easily through both legs,
Over your knees and down to the ends of each toe,
Settling you into this moment.
And now up into your torso,
The bottom of your back,
Up through the rib cage,
Into your shoulders,
Your chest,
Down both arms to the ends of each finger.
Now to complete the journey just up through the neck into the head space and through to the top of the crown.
And so it is.
You have set a pure simple intent to evoke Reiki energy in this moment,
To help you rest and sleep.
Bathed in Reiki light with your hands gently against your base chakra,
Allow the music to gently help you drift and sleep.
