Hello,
I'm Diana and I want to welcome you to this meditation,
Coming home to yourself.
I'm really happy that you're here with me today.
This is a moment just for you,
A moment to come back to yourself.
Find a position that feels comfortable to you,
Whether you're sitting or lying down.
Let your hands rest gently,
Let your shoulders drop and let your jaw unclench.
There's nothing that you need to hold right now.
Slowly bring your awareness to your breath.
Don't change it.
Don't control it.
Just notice it.
Notice the rhythm of inhale and exhale.
If your mind feels busy,
That's okay.
If your body feels unsettled,
That's okay too.
Nothing needs to be different in this moment.
You are allowed to simply be here.
Now begin to feel the weight of your body.
The way you are being held by the chair beneath you or the floor beneath you.
Really notice that support.
Let yourself sink just a little deeper.
As if your body is remembering that it doesn't have to carry everything alone to your feet.
Even if you're lying down,
Just sense your feet.
Imagine roots beginning to grow from the soles of your feet.
Slowly extending down into the earth beneath you.
Deep and steady and strong.
These roots holding you,
Supporting you,
Connecting you to something stable.
Something constant.
With each exhale,
Let anything heavy,
Anything restless,
Gently flow down through those roots into the earth.
Where it can be held and softened.
And with each inhale,
Allow a sense of steadiness.
A sense of strength to rise back up through those roots into your body.
There's nothing you need to chase.
There's nothing you need to fix.
In this moment,
You are supported.
Hand to your heart,
If that feels right.
And just feel the gentle movement beneath your hand.
The quiet rhythm of you being here.
Present and enough.
If your mind wanders,
Gently bring it back.
To your breath.
To your body.
To the feeling of being held.
Again and again.
Returning without judgement.
Let yourself rest here for a few more breaths.
In this sense of groundedness.
Of coming home to yourself.
And when you're ready,
Begin to gently deepen your breath.
Maybe move your fingers a little.
And wiggle your toes a bit.
Slowly bringing your awareness back to the space around you.
And carry this feeling with you.
This quiet knowing that you can return here whenever you need.
Thank you for joining me today.
Till next time.
