Hello,

Sweet soul.

This is davidji,

And I'm so grateful to be here with you right now.

So let's settle in together for a moment.

Allow your shoulders to soften.

Let your breath lengthen just a little.

Long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

And feel this gentle invitation to arrive right here,

Right now,

In this sacred,

Precious,

Present moment.

Because what we're about to explore is a tool that I've shared with thousands of people,

And I believe it will help you too.

To help you see your life more clearly,

And from that clarity,

Allowing something even more powerful and amazing to emerge in your life.

There's a quiet truth that most of us sense,

But we rarely pause long enough to fully meet.

And your life is not just what you think you value.

Your life is actually what you give your attention to,

Day after day,

Moment after moment.

And so today,

I want to offer you a way to take a sacred snapshot of your life,

A living reflection,

One that doesn't judge,

But a powerful moment that simply reveals.

And I call it the 7-7-7 technique.

It's simple,

And it's profound,

Because it brings the invisible into view.

So if you're ready to look at your life through a completely different lens,

Then let's begin together.

And you may want to use a pen and a piece of paper or a journal,

Or simply close your eyes and rest your hand on your heart to make that heart connection.

We do this all with love.

So let's settle in.

Take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through your nose.

Feel it go down deep into your belly.

And let that go.

And let's do that one more time.

Long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

And release.

And so let's begin the 7-7-7 technique.

First,

I invite you to write down or simply reflect on the seven people who take up the most space in your mind.

These may be people you see every day,

People you live with,

People you work with,

Or they may be people from your past,

Perhaps someone who hurt you,

Someone you miss,

Someone whose voice still echoes inside you.

And this isn't about labeling good or bad.

This is purely about noticing.

Noticing who really lives in your inner world.

Because if someone occupies your thoughts,

They're part of your life,

Whether they're physically present or not.

So just let those seven names arise.

Let them unfold in your mind's eye.

And if your eyes are closed,

Feel free to reflect or feel free to write them down.

If you're putting pen to paper,

Don't think too hard.

Let these seven people unfold.

And we'll take a minute here.

I'll time us for a little bit.

So you can take your time.

And if you realize that you need more time,

Just please come back and play the video over and over until you're fully clear.

I've done the exercise,

So I'll just sit here and meditate while you write.

And again,

Maybe a quick three came to mind,

But take your time with this over the next several days.

It's something I do many times a month.

So I invite you to do that as well.

Maybe you've got a few names written down or have unfolded in your mind's eye.

The target is seven,

But whatever feels right.

Let's move to the second layer.

These are the seven places where you spend most of your time.

This could be your home,

Your workplace,

Your car,

Your phone,

The gym,

Coffee shop,

Public transportation,

Maybe a digital space.

Where does your life unfold?

Where do your hours gather?

These places shape your energy more than you may realize.

They influence how you feel,

How you think,

How you move through your day.

So let those seven places reveal themselves.

Let them unfold in your mind's eye.

If your eyes are closed or feel free,

Again,

Write them down if you're putting pen to paper.

And don't think too hard.

Let these seven places unfold.

We'll take a minute here.

Let me hold space for you here meditating while you write or while you let them unfold in your mind.

And now to the third layer.

These are the seven activities or behaviors that fill your days.

What do you actually do?

Not what do you intend to do?

Not what you wish you did,

But what do you consistently do?

Working,

Scrolling,

Connecting,

Doing laundry,

Caregiving,

Watching a screen,

Tending to someone else,

Worrying,

Cleaning,

Creating,

Exercising,

Numbing,

Gardening,

Learning,

Serving.

Over the course of a typical week,

What patterns keep repeating themselves?

And let those seven become clear.

Let them unfold in your mind's eye.

And if you have more than that,

Just keep it at seven.

These are the primary ones in our life.

And let them unfold in your mind's eye.

If your eyes are closed or feel free to write them down.

And don't think too hard.

Let these seven behaviors simply unfold.

And we'll take a minute here.

And now let's take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in with me.

And if you only got a few in certain categories,

No worries.

You know,

You can keep coming back to this.

Because what you're looking at right now,

These seven people,

These seven places,

These seven behaviors or patterns,

This is the architecture of your life.

This is the ecosystem you are living inside of.

And there's something deeply empowering here.

Because once you can see it,

You can begin to shape it.

If as you look at your seven,

Seven,

Seven,

There's a sense of alignment,

A feeling of nourishment,

A quiet yes in your heart,

Then the invitation is simple.

Lean into it.

You're exactly where you need to be,

Where you want to be.

Give your energy even more fully.

Deepen your presence.

Expand what is already supporting you.

Rock on.

Now,

If that's not how you feel,

If as you look at your seven,

Seven,

Seven,

You notice friction or drain or disconnection,

If you sense a feeling of,

That's not really the life I want,

Do not despair.

That's okay.

This is where we gently introduce what I like to call the enlightened exchange.

And you may have heard me talk about this on Insight Timer Lives.

The enlightened exchange is not about a giant overhaul.

And it's not even about some dramatic change.

It's about one conscious shift in one of the seven,

Seven,

Sevens.

Maybe it's the people or the places or the behaviors or activities or in all of them.

But it's just one release,

One invitation.

You choose one person,

One place or one behavior that does not nourish you.

And you lovingly create a little space around it.

Maybe that means a boundary.

Maybe that means less time dedicated to that thing.

Maybe that means a softer emotional grip.

And once you have identified that and released it in some way,

Softened it a little bit,

Then you bring in a nourishing alternative,

A conversation that lifts you,

A place that restores you,

A behavior that aligns just a little bit more with who you are becoming.

This is how life changes,

Not all at once,

But through these quiet,

Conscious exchanges.

One thing out.

And once that space is created,

One more nourishing thing in.

It was Aristotle who said that nature abhors a vacuum.

So once we've created a vacuum by releasing or letting go or creating the space,

Something's going to come back into it.

Why not be intentional about what leaves and what comes back in?

And what begins to happen over time is something beautiful.

You stop living by default and you begin living by design.

Your relationships become more intentional.

Your environments become more supportive.

Your habits begin to reflect your deeper values.

And over time,

Those small exchanges ripple outward,

Reshaping your days,

Your energy,

Your sense of self.

Pretty cool,

Right?

So as we begin to close here,

I invite you to return to your breath.

Let it be soft,

Easy,

Unforced,

And gently ask yourself,

What is one exchange I am ready for?

Not 10,

Not seven,

Just one.

And trust what arises.

What is one exchange I am ready for?

And as you move through your day,

Carry this awareness with you.

You're not at the mercy of your patterns.

You are in relationship with them.

And with each conscious choice,

You are shaping a life that feels so much more like home.

So let's take one more slow,

Deep breath in and release it.

And when you're ready,

If you've had your eyes closed,

Feel free to gently open them.

Step back into your day with a little more clarity,

A little more intention,

And with the quiet power of the enlightened exchange.

From the sweet spot of the universe,

This is davidji.

I do this a few times a month,

And I would invite you to do the same.

The 777 check-in keeps me always moving in the direction of my dreams and helps me feel more aligned.

And it may help you feel more aligned with your most authentic voice in the world.

So please let me know how this is working for you.

And in the meantime,

Keep meditating,

And I'll see you in the gap.
