Hello,

This is davidji and welcome to today's meditation on awakening your inner light.

Let's find a comfortable place to sit or lie down and let's ever so gently feather our nest.

Settle in.

Nestle in.

And together let's take a long slow deep breath in.

And gently let that go.

Let's do that one more time and allow our eyelids to gently float closed,

Long slow deep breath in.

And ever so gently release it.

And begin to follow your breath in and out.

Allow your shoulders to relax.

Allow your entire body to innocently melt.

Keep witnessing your breath as it moves into you and as it flows out of you.

Settling down just a little bit more with each breath.

Releasing some of the tension that you've been holding onto with each exhale.

Allowing.

Accepting.

Receiving.

This sacred,

Precious,

Present moment.

And now drift your attention down to the tip of your tailbone.

At the very very end of your spine.

Bring your awareness to that space.

And begin to see a tiny spark.

A small beam of light starting to awaken.

Breathe into it.

Connect to it.

Become one with it.

Don't forget to keep breathing.

Effortlessly.

And if it's easier,

Breathe into your tailbone.

In the ancient traditions,

This is known as your root chakra.

Your foundation.

Your base.

The place of stability in your life.

The grounding of your existence.

In Sanskrit,

This is referred to as the Mooladhara.

But whatever you'd like to call it,

Keep breathing into it.

Allow your awareness to fully merge with this one tiny pinpoint that has a little bit of light.

You can even start to feel it tingle as that light begins to expand.

And keep breathing into it.

Breathe in stability and let go of confusion.

Feel the strength of this space.

The power.

The energy.

And start to feel that light move up your spine slowly.

It's a whitish,

Bluish light that gets stronger with each breath.

And you can feel the tingling from that tip of your tailbone.

Move up slowly.

Just an inch or two.

As you move up your spine,

Notice how relaxed you are.

And notice that your mind has calmed.

In this light is the new foundation for any aspect of your existence.

And see the light start to move up another few inches.

Feel it bathe your lower back.

Feel it heal any constrictions.

Feel the tingling start to soothe any pain you have in that area.

And keep breathing into it,

Allowing the light to rise.

Moving up to your middle back.

It's bathing your spine in healing and soothing.

It's bringing strength to the structure that it flows from.

As you continue to breathe,

Feel the light get stronger.

And if at any point you drift away to thoughts or sounds or any other physical sensations,

Ever so gently drift your attention back to the light.

Back to the light.

Back to the light.

Feel it embrace your entire solar plexus area.

From your belly to your rib cage.

Feel the healing and soothing waves of light just bathing you.

Bathing your chest.

And keep breathing into the light,

Allowing it to expand and heal all the cells that it radiates upon.

And now that bluish-white light is expanding ever more.

Its healing properties are showering your chest,

Your heart,

All the tissues and muscles from your shoulders to your solar plexus.

Feel your heart start to expand,

Soften.

In this vulnerability,

You find your strength.

In this innocence,

You step into your power.

As you breathe,

You feel your heart expand.

Feel your chest expand and feel the healing light from your spine radiate out to any constriction,

Any pain,

Any weight or disability.

Any weight or discomfort in the area of your chest and your heart.

Just allow those waves of soothing blue-white light to embrace any discomfort.

Allow your shoulders to drop and let them be healed in this moment.

Now allow that light to move up just a little bit to your neck.

Your sweet neck which supports your head all day.

Feel free to gently and gracefully sway your neck.

Move it around as you feel the blue-white healing light surge into it.

Lightening its load.

Feel it wrap around to your throat,

Your expression center.

Allow the blockage that's in your throat with the next exhale to be freed.

Exhale through your mouth one more time.

Breathe through your nose.

Let's do it one more time.

Long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through your nose.

And exhale through your mouth.

Allow any tightness or constriction or jaw clenching to innocently be released.

Allow the light to come up a little bit more into the back of your head.

That tender spot where your spinal cord touches your brain,

That most vulnerable area,

Bathe it in that blue-white light of healing right now.

Invite the light into your brain and give it permission to heal,

To soothe,

To calm any emotional pain,

Overwhelm or discomfort.

Allow your jaw to unclench.

Allow your eyes to soften.

And feel that healing light just bathing your head from the tip of your jaw to the crown of your head.

Take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Allow that light to now drop through your shoulders into your arms,

Your triceps,

Your biceps,

Your elbows,

Your forearms,

Your wrists,

And your hands.

Feel them become so light as they fill with healing,

Soothing,

Relaxing light.

They're so light they start to rise up.

Let's take another long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

As we exhale,

Let's allow that light to now flow into our legs,

Starting from our hips.

Feel the light bathe our hips,

Healing,

Nourishing,

Soothing,

Balancing any discomfort.

Feel it extend into your hamstrings,

Your thighs,

Your knees,

Your calves,

Your shins,

Your ankles,

Your feet,

And your toes.

And right now,

In this moment,

You are buzzing with light,

Healing,

Nourishing,

Soothing light.

Let's just watch it,

Witness it as it changes,

As it expands,

As it releases you from pain and strengthens your physical and emotional body.

Just bask right now in the rippling of this light.

And now let's take it even deeper.

We'll use a mantra,

An ancient Sanskrit mantra.

Agni Mile Purohitam.

I surrender to the fire of transformation.

Agni Mile Purohitam.

Even though you're repeating it silently to yourself,

It may change.

It may become louder or fainter,

Faster or slower.

It may even become jumbled or distorted.

However it changes,

Don't resist,

Just flow with it.

Allow that light to be flowing throughout every fiber of your essence,

In this realm and the next.

At a certain point you'll realize that you've drifted away from the mantra and when you do,

Ever so gently,

Lovingly drift back to Agni Mile Purohitam.

There will be thoughts,

There may be sounds,

There may even be some physical sensations.

These aren't distractions in your meditation.

These actually are your meditation.

So don't resist,

Just continue to witness without judging as you heal your body,

As you heal your heart,

As you heal your mind.

I'll watch the time and when you hear me ring the chime,

Just sit gently with your eyes closed.

The mantra is Agni Mile Purohitam.

So let's begin.
