My name is Darius and I'm so grateful that you and I get this time together.
Wherever you are in the world,
Whenever you are in the world,
We are here together.
We've carved out some time for ourselves to start our day feeling connected to ourselves,
To our hearts,
To our bodies,
To our minds.
This meditation is being made on the first Friday of the new year and my intention with this meditation is to help us start this new year full of love,
Possibilities,
And positivity.
I will share many affirmations in this meditation.
You can repeat them to yourselves or you can just sit back and relax and let the energy,
The frequency of this meditation work its way through you,
Supporting you,
Nourishing you in any way that serves you.
Let's begin our meditation.
Let's find a nice comfortable seat and if your eyes are open,
I'd like to invite you to close them now as we go inwards together.
Let's take a moment to land in our bodies,
Connecting with your breath this morning.
Just noticing if it's shallow or deep.
Does it have a noise?
Is it quiet?
Are you breathing through your nose or your mouth or both?
No judgment,
No fixing.
Just notice where your breath is this morning and just for a moment if you're open to it,
I'd like to invite you to place your hands on your heart,
Nice and gentle,
And we're going to breathe into our heart.
Breathing in now,
Nice deep breath into your heart and let it go.
One more deep breath into your heart now,
Maybe giving your heart a little cuddle.
Just waking your heart up in the most gentle,
Loving way possible.
Good morning heart.
Hello beloved.
You can place your hands back down on your lap or if you want to leave them on your heart,
That's okay too.
Just notice how you feel.
Maybe that was an enjoyable exercise for you.
Maybe it wasn't.

It's a reminder that you can't get this wrong.

I am so excited for the amazing people I will meet this year.
Let's take a moment to notice how you're feeling.
Maybe there's joy,
Maybe there's excitement,
Maybe there's resistance.

Maybe there are words that follow,
Maybe there are feelings,
