Writing looks simple from the outside, but every writer knows it asks everything of you. To write with depth, you have to bring all parts of yourself to the page, including the parts you've been avoiding or carrying in silence. This 10-minute guided meditation helps writers reconnect with their creative selves through self-forgiveness, releasing old shame and self-criticism using the healing words "Dear Beloved, I forgive you..." so you can write from a place of wholeness, grace, and love. WRITING EXERCISE (10-15 min) Write: "I'm meeting the part of me that ____ (quit, hid, judged, delayed)." "You're safe with me. I forgive you." Then let that older part speak: "Thank you for finding me. I've been…" or "What you don't understand is…" No editing. Keep going with: "And another thing… / What I really needed was… / What I'm afraid of is…" No need to force it, but if you feel love for those old parts, let it flow.
