Good morning.
And welcome to the Artist Morning Writers Club.
My name is Darius and I am so grateful that you and I get this time together.
This is a short guided meditation made specifically for new and emerging writers.
Our practice today is on the theme of forgiveness.
Let's begin.
If your eyes are open,
I'd like to invite you to gently close them now.
As we go inwards together.
Nice and slow.
Giving yourself an opportunity to really land here.
Beginning to take.
Longer,
Deeper breaths.
Into your belly,
Into your heart space.
Nice and slow.
If you are here.
If you are listening to my voice now.
It's because there is a part of you,
A writer self.
That you are looking to Develop.
You are looking to give more space to.
Maybe.
You are shy about this.
Maybe it's a big secret that there's a desire inside your heart.
For you to share more of your writing with the world.
That's okay.
And maybe you are done keeping this desire.
A secret.
And that's okay too.
This is a short meditation today.
In my intention.
Is to help you.
Awaken that writer's self.
In a deeper,
More meaningful way.
First question Are you open to awakening your writer self?
Would you like that part of you?
That wants to write,
To have more space and support.
If you notice your energy has moved back to your head,
That's okay.
Our practice today is moving from our headspace.
Into our heart space.
Deep breath.
Into your heart.
Breathing in,
Big exhale out.
This is our last song this morning.
And all I want to do is bring your presence,
Bring your attention to the possibility.
That to awaken your righter self.
There is a part of you from the past.
That you will need to forgive.
There is some sort of grace Some sort of love?
Some sort of forgiveness.
Is there a part of you from the past?
That you could forgive.
Today.
Sincerely,
Honestly.
Lovingly.
Forgive.
This is our last song,
I'm gonna stay quiet.
But I mean a seed.
The beginnings of an affirmation.
Dear.
Beloved.
I forgive you.
Dear Past Self,
I forgive you.
On the surface,
Writing looks very simple.
You have something to say?
Find.
A piece of paper,
Find.
A digital screen.
And right.
But of course,
Those who have been writing will quickly discover writing is a much more deep thing.
And meaningful process.
It will require a lot from you.
And it's my belief.
That if you want to share the best,
Most honest,
Most courageous writing you have available to you,
You are going to need all of your parts.
Past,
Present,
And future.
And so when we go into the past and we sincerely find a way to love,
To forgive,
To support ourselves,
Because all of us have made mistakes,
If we can rally parts,
Those exiled parts,
And bring them into this process,
That will make for a tremendous creative partnership.
So thank you for meditating with me.
Thank you for slowing down and reconnecting with those older parts.
And for those of you that are joining us live at the artist morning,
We're going to move into our.
Writing.
I'm going to share an optional writing exercise now.
And put 66 minutes of dedicated writing time on the clock for us to continue this exploration.
Thank you once again for meditating with me.
My name is Darius and I will see you next time.
