Good morning and welcome to the artist morning.

My name is Darius.

Today's meditation practice will be an opportunity to lighten our loads and let go of anything that no longer serves us.

A gentle reminder that you do not need to let go of anything.

If you truly want to hold on,

Of course you can do so.

The purpose of letting go can be to create more space for new energy,

To create an open channel in our mind,

Body,

Hearts,

And souls to let new creative energy work its way in to us and through us.

Just take a moment to let that last sentence land and notice how you feel.

Maybe you are open and excited.

Maybe you are starting to check out and you are resistant.

Maybe something else.

As with all my meditations,

You can't get this wrong.

All your feelings,

All your openness,

All your resistance,

All of you is welcome here.

Everything you are feeling,

All your sensations,

All of them will serve us this morning.

If your eyes are open,

I'd like to invite you to close them now,

Gently,

And I'd like you to do absolutely nothing.

What's it like just to be here exactly how you are?

What does it feel like for there not to be any demand on how you should be,

What you should say?

Trust your intuition here.

Breathe however you'd like.

Shallow,

Deep,

Quiet,

Loud.

Bravo,

Dear artist.

I know this is a guided meditation,

But just for a moment I wanted you just to be exactly how you are and notice what that feels like.

Let's take a nice deep breath here together.

Breathing in,

Letting it all go.

One more together here.

Breathing in and holding at the top,

Letting it all go.

Give yourself a moment to land,

Bringing your attention into your heart space.

Doing a quick little check-in.

How is your heart doing this morning?

How is your heart?

And if you're open to it,

Place one or two hands over top your heart and just be here,

Present and supportive with your heart.

Breathing into your heart,

Breathing into the back of your heart,

The top of your heart,

The sides and the bottom.

Thank you,

Beautiful heart,

For everything you do,

Everything you feel,

All your dreams,

All your fears.

I love you.

I love you,

Beautiful heart.

You can bring your hands down or leave them if you'd like.

With this next part of our meditation,

We're gonna gently open our mind,

Body,

And heart.

Open and clear so that we can receive more.

Let's begin by opening and softening your forehead.

It's gentle,

It's simple.

Just imagining a little bit more space in your forehead,

In your third eye.

Opening your jaw,

Allowing for a little bit more ease and pleasure.

Opening your neck and your throat.

Thank you,

Beautiful throat.

Thank you,

Voice.

Let's take a deep breath here.

With our inhale,

Our chest gets bigger and we make a little bit more space.

Our heart has more space.

Our shoulders go back,

Opening the spaces between the vertebrae and our spine.

Gently moving energy and opening,

Opening,

Opening.

Feeling that warm embrace work its way through our arms to the tips of our fingers.

More space,

More spaciousness.

Working through our body,

Down our stomachs,

Our solar plexus.

Breathing into your belly.

Soft and gentle and warm to our lower regions,

Our pelvic region,

Your legs.

Following the energy,

Opening,

Opening,

Opening.

Down your knees,

Your shins,

Your feet.

Energy is flowing.

We are making space.

Energy you do not need.

Anything you do not need is sort of just working its way to the surface of your skin and in the most loving way,

Evaporating off your body.

It's really gentle,

But it's powerful.

Anything you do not need,

Anything that does not serve you,

We are letting go of.

We are letting go.

We are making space.

Maybe you notice your body starts tingling.

It's like a breeze,

A whisper.

It's working its way down your spine.

It feels nice.

It feels warm.

Maybe you notice your body is gently vibrating.

We are releasing anything that does not serve us.

We are gently,

Lovingly letting go.

Maybe your body wants to move a little here.

Gently rocking,

Swaying,

And maybe you want to sit perfectly still.

Just notice my hands are swimming,

Dancing in the air in front of me.

My hips are moving,

Now coming to stillness.

In the stillness,

Can you feel that something has shifted?

Something is different here.

You,

Dear artist,

Are lighter.

This is our last song this morning.

You get to do whatever you'd like for this last song.

You can move,

You can sit in stillness,

You can travel through time and space,

Be with someone,

Be in some place.

You can even go to the future.

There is also another option here if you are interested.

Now that we have created more space and we've let go of things that do not serve us,

We are this beautiful open channel,

This vessel,

And maybe you are interested in allowing the universe to pour abundance and love and light into your crown,

Into your body,

Your mind,

Your soul,

Into your beautiful human body.

You choose.

There's no right or wrong.

You can come back to this meditation at any time.

Let's take a moment to land back in our bodies,

In our seats here.

Let's anchor back by taking a deep breath here,

Breathing in.
