Good morning and welcome to The Artist's Morning.
My name is Darius and I am so grateful that you and I get this time together.
Our practice today is intended to help you slow down,
Go into your glorious heart and open yourself and your life to be able to receive support,
Guidance,
And help from the universe.
Let's begin our practice.
If your eyes are open,
I'd like to invite you to close them now.
As we begin to go inwards together,
Taking a few deep breaths,
If you're open to it,
Making some noise on your exhales,
Releasing any energy that you no longer need,
Letting it go with your exhales,
Breathing in new,
Fresh energy into your system.
Before we ask for support and open ourselves up for guidance and help from the universe,
We're going to begin with a simple gratitude practice.
When we step into the energy of gratitude,
Our frequency changes,
Our state changes,
And the universe notices.
You don't need to overdo it.
It actually doesn't matter what the content of our gratitude is,
What we're specifically grateful for.
No matter how small,
Feeling the energy of thank you will make a big difference in your life.
So if you're open to it,
Let's take a deep breath together and find one or more things you're grateful for.
Deep breath in,
Letting it go,
And you fill in the blanks here.
Dear universe,
Thank you for.
Dear universe,
I am so grateful for.
And if you are overthinking this part and you think you're getting it wrong,
Gentle reminder,
There's no such thing.
All answers are welcome,
Dear universe.
Thank you for this chair.
Thank you for that breakfast.
Thank you for that movie.
Thank you for my body.
Thank you for last night's sleep.
Thank you for this meditation.
All answers are welcome.
One last try here.
Dear universe,
Thank you for.
The most important part here is to feel,
Continue breathing,
Feeling the frequency and energy of gratitude.
Now,
Even 1%.
And if resistance shows up,
I want to say,
That's okay.
Thank you,
Resistance.
We are even grateful for our resistance.
Some days it might be harder to find things we are grateful for,
And that's okay.
Each day is different.
Go slow,
Be gentle.
And on this day,
Do the best you can.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you,
Universe.
Bravo,
Dear artist.
And now we're going to shift from this energy of gratitude into the energy of opening ourselves up for guidance,
For support,
I'm going to share some words,
Some affirmations.
But before I do,
I want to check in with you.
In this moment,
On this day,
Are you actually open to receiving help from the universe?
If your answer is no,
That's a perfectly fine answer.
And if your answer is yes,
You can follow along with me now.
It's real simple.
Take a nice deep breath here.
Breathing in.
Letting go with some noise.
Dear universe,
I am open.
I am ready.
Dear universe,
Please help me with.
You don't need to overthink it.
Let whatever is there come through you.
Maybe there are words,
Maybe there are images,
Maybe there are colors or feelings.
Allow yourself perhaps to be surprised here.
We're going to go in again.
Deep breath in.
Letting go with some noise.
Dear universe,
I am open.
I am willing.
Dear universe,
Please help me with.
Bravo,
Dear artist.
I want to say on the surface,
This meditation looks simple,
And maybe for you it is.
And I know from working with many people that sometimes asking for help,
Even from the universe,
Can be very challenging.
And that's okay.
And if you're interested in developing this muscle,
You're interested in learning how to receive more support and guidance from the universe and the world around you,
We can practice together in a safe place.
In this place,
We can practice asking for help.
We can observe what comes up for us.
We can learn and grow.
No need to judge.
No need to compare.
Just a curiosity.
So I'm going to repeat the affirmation once again,
And then we're going to go into our final song.
Dear universe,
I am open.
I am willing.
I am ready.
Dear universe,
Please help me with.
This is our last song today.
I'm going to sit back and allow you and your heart and this song and the universe to have some quality time together.
Let's bring our practice to an end.
One last deep breath together here.
Breathing in.
Once again,
Letting go anything you no longer need,
Lightening your load with your exhale.
Bravo,
Dear artist.
Bravo,
Dear creator.
You made it once again to the end of a meditation.
And for that,
I am so grateful for those that are joining live at the artist morning.
I'm going to put 20 minutes on the clock and allow us to do some private personal journaling.
I'll share a journaling prompt as well.
And of course,
If you're catching us on a replay,
Perhaps on insight timer,
You can do the same.
Thank you once again for meditating with me.
My name is Darius,
And I will see you next time.
