Good morning and welcome to the Artist's Morning.
My name is Darius and our practice today is intended to help you feel confident,
Grounded,
And connected to yourself.
Let's begin our meditation.
If your eyes are open,
I'd like to invite you to gently close them now.
As we go inwards together.
Giving ourselves a chance to land in our seats.
Land in our bodies.
And become connected and present to our hearts.
Let's take a deep breath together.
Breathing in and letting it all go.
Allowing a gentle softness to work its way down your head.
Softening your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your nose,
Your cheeks.
This warm,
Loving softness softens your neck,
Your shoulders.
As it works down your back,
It almost feels like a hug from someone you love.
Continues working down your hips,
Your thighs,
Your shins,
And your feet.
If you are open to it,
Let's try a couple of deep breaths.
Three deep breaths on your own.
Each one getting just a little bit deeper.
Longer.
Maybe more soothing and calming as well.
Accessing more peace and calm.
Even if you can get 1% more calm,
That's progress.
I'm going to share some affirmations with you and with me.
And we get to choose how open we are to them.
How willing we are to allow them into our hearts.
We are all intended to help you bring more confidence,
More groundedness into your life.
I am open to receiving support from the universe.
I welcome each morning with an open heart.
Every day,
I am making something beautiful with my life.
Every breath,
A chance to begin again.
Take a moment to let those first affirmations impact your mind,
Your body,
Your heart.
There's no way in which you need to be.
Just notice how you actually are.
I am the leader of my own life.
I am constantly evolving for the better.
What I do matters.
I am unstoppable.
I am able to see the bigger picture.
I am shedding my limiting beliefs.
I am committed to my dreams.
I surround myself with inspiration.
I am worthy of the blessings that are coming my way.
I am whole,
Happy and healing.
I am allowed to be the real me.
I welcome all parts of who I am.
I honor and respect myself.
I honor and respect myself.
Taking a deep breath.
Everything is energy.
Our actions.
Our words.
Our thoughts.
These affirmations have energy.
And maybe you received them this morning.
And maybe you pushed them away.
And that's okay too.
But the energy is here.
And even if you are resistant,
Even if you are thinking about your to-do list,
The energy of these affirmations,
The support,
The love available to you is still working its way into your system,
Supporting you,
Rooting for you,
Grounding you.
I'm going to share some more affirmations for our last song now.
And you decide how far,
How deep you'd like to receive these affirmations.
Taking a deep breath.
You dear artist,
You are a divine creative being.
You are strong,
Confident,
And resilient.
You are unstoppable.
Sometimes you slow down,
Sometimes you need to rest.
But each time you recover,
You come back stronger,
Wiser,
More committed to your dreams.
You care.
You have a big,
Generous heart.
And sometimes it's scary opening that heart to the world.
But your heart matters.
Your vision matters.
Your voice matters.
So take as much time as you need and rest and refresh.
But know,
Like I know,
That you're going to be back in the game soon.
And that's what this world needs.
Every breath,
A chance to begin again.
Every day,
An opportunity to make something beautiful with your life.
You're open to it,
Place one hand on your heart,
One hand on your stomach.
Give yourself a little love here.
Hold yourself just for a moment.
