Greetings,
Fellow seeker.
This is Daphne Garrido,
And I am extremely grateful that you have joined me here today.
For this practice,
We will be releasing what no longer serves us,
Whether that's outgrown defense mechanisms,
Unconscious habits,
Fears,
Or beliefs about our own limitations.
Whatever it is that you are ready to let go of,
We will do it here together.
And so let us begin by feeling into our bodies,
Searching out any tension,
Any holding that may be within us.
And so just let your conscious attention move through your body,
And if you find any pockets of tightness,
Allow yourself to stay there for a moment and breathe into them.
Don't try to push out the tension,
Just accept it as it is and continue breathing while your attention is focused there.
And then when it feels right,
Allow your attention to continue roaming through your body,
Searching your muscles,
Feeling the energy within.
And so make sure your spine is straight,
Make sure your neck is long,
Roll your shoulders down and back,
Lifting your heart space.
And if you haven't already,
Close your eyes,
Take a very deep breath in,
Filling yourself all the way,
And let it go.
Take another deep breath in,
All the way,
And release.
Take one last deep breath in,
Filling yourself completely,
And hold.
Allow your entire body to relax,
And release.
And just allow your breath to find a comfortable rhythm,
Its own pace,
Release control,
And simply witness the flow of your breath.
Find yourself now,
Walking through the deep woods,
Hear the crunch of twigs beneath your boots,
Smell the trees,
The freshness of the air.
And notice,
You can hear the sound of running water in the distance,
Moving towards it,
Coming into a small clearing.
See that you have found a wide and gentle river running through the woods.
Allow yourself to find a meditative position beside the water.
See the birds flying above,
And the bright blue sky through the treetops.
See that on the ground beside you,
Are leaves in a multitude of colors and shapes.
Some are green,
Some are yellow,
Some are red,
Some are brown.
And so here,
To start,
Let us hold the intention of releasing all that no longer serves us.
To release outgrown defense mechanisms that we no longer have use for,
Unconscious habits,
Fears,
And beliefs that turn into limitations we place upon ourselves.
Let us allow ourselves to alchemically release all of these patterns that we have outgrown.
And so feel into your body once again,
And see if you can recognize places within you that may be holding onto energy you are ready to release.
Feel the energy of these patterns within you.
Maybe even realize what some of them are specifically.
See yourself picking up a leaf,
And notice what color and shape your leaf is.
All the energy of what we are releasing.
Feel these outgrown defense mechanisms,
Unconscious habits,
Fears,
And limitations channeling into your third eye,
And feel a tether of energy extend from that place out of the center of your forehead,
And see it reach out to connect with the leaf,
And allow yourself to fully release this energy into the leaf.
Feeling yourself relieved of these patterns you've been holding within you,
Take the leaf,
And with great gratitude for its assistance in helping us here today,
Set it in the water of this gentle river,
And let it go.
Watch the current take it downstream as it floats away.
Feel the weight of these released patterns lifting.
Feel yourself lighter,
And just return to the rhythms of your breath.
Now,
See yourself pick up another leaf.
Again,
Notice its shape and color,
And here,
Allow yourself to release something that you want to get rid of.
Whatever comes to mind for you.
This may be something specific,
Or it may just be a general intention to release what is inside that no longer serves you.
Whatever it is,
Again,
Allow this energy within you to pool at your third eye,
And to pass through a tether which extends through your forehead,
And energetically connects with the leaf.
And so again,
With great gratitude,
Set the leaf into the river,
And let it go.
Watch it float downstream,
And feel the weight lifted from you.
Now,
Having released patterns that no longer serve our highest good,
See yourself standing and beginning to wade into the river.
Feel yourself pushing off and rolling over.
As you begin to float on your back,
Feel the water running below and around you.
Feel yourself floating effortlessly,
And just allow yourself to drift downstream,
Realizing that life's journey is like a river,
And that when we release control and trust the universe,
It allows more joy and peace into our lives.
So just float downstream here,
And allow yourself to release and to trust that everything is unfolding with divine timing and grace.
Finally,
See yourself coming to the shore of this river.
See yourself returning to your feet,
And begin to walk back into the beautiful woods.
And as you do,
Feel yourself returning to your physical body.
Allow yourself to gently move and stretch.
Sense the space around you.
Take a deep breath in,
And let it go.
And whenever you're ready,
Open your eyes.
