Welcome,
Gently arrive into this moment just as you are,
There's nowhere else to be right now,
Nothing to fix or change,
Just you,
Here,
Now,
Let your eyes softly close or lower your gaze,
Feel your body settle,
Shoulders softening,
Jaw unclenching,
Any weight from yesterday or today beginning to melt away,
Take a slow nourishing breath in through the nose,
And a long easy exhale out of the mouth,
Again inhale and exhale like a wave arriving at and then leaving the shore,
Now simply allow the breath to return to its natural rhythm,
Release control and witness,
Becoming the quiet observer,
Notice how the breath moves through you,
The gentle rise and fall of your belly and chest,
The expansion of the ribs,
The coolness as you breathe in,
The warmth as you breathe out,
And if the mind drifts that's okay,
No need to follow the thoughts,
With kindness guide your attention back to the breath,
Again and again like an anchor to the present moment,
Each breath is a reminder,
You are here,
You are alive,
You are enough,
Let your breath be your home,
A soft place to land,
Again and again,
And again,
Begin to deepen your inhale now and lengthen your exhale,
Gently return to the room,
Slowly reawaken the body,
Come back to the space,
Slowly,
Softly,
Gently,
And when you're ready allow the eyes to open,
And when you're ready allow the heart to open,
Carry this deep sense of presence with you into whatever comes next,
With your breath,
You're never far from peace.
