Welcome to this awakening meditation.

My name is Danny and today we're going to set a peaceful and positive tone for your day.

So find a comfortable seated position,

Feather your nest,

Gently close down your eyes and let your hands rest softly in your lap.

Take a moment to simply arrive here with yourself.

Let's begin by taking a deep breath in and slowly releasing it,

Feeling a sense of relief and calm as you breathe out.

Again,

Take a long,

Deep breath in,

Filling your lungs with fresh air,

Filling your body with fresh energy and exhale,

Letting go of any tension you might be holding onto.

Feel the rhythm of your breath,

Gentle and steady.

With each inhale,

Welcome in a sense of renewal.

With each exhale,

Allow yourself to release anything that doesn't serve you.

Now,

Let's bring our awareness to the body,

Gently waking it up.

Start at the top of your head,

Noticing any sensations here.

Allow your forehead to soften,

Your jaw to relax and allow any tension in your shoulders to simply dissolve.

Feel the sensation of relaxation moving down through your arms,

Past your elbows,

Into your hands and all the way down through your torso.

Allow yourself to soften any tightness,

Release the belly,

Allow the hips to relax and let this warmth move down through your legs,

All the way past your knees,

To the tips of your toes.

Breathe into this gentle awakening of the body and as you sit here in this tranquil state,

Take a moment to consider how you'd like to feel throughout your day.

Maybe you want to carry a sense of calm or perhaps you want to be filled with energy and positivity.

Whatever resonates with you,

Bring that feeling to mind and set it as your intention for the day.

Let's put this vibration into an affirmation to kickstart the morning using your chosen word.

As an example here,

I'll use the word positivity.

Say to yourself,

Today I choose positivity and I carry this energy with me throughout my day.

Using your word,

Repeating after me,

Today I choose and I carry this energy with me throughout my day.

Today I choose and I carry this energy with me throughout my day.

Today I choose and I carry this energy with me throughout my day.

Now,

Begin to picture a gentle warm light beginning to glow from within you at the center of your chest.

With each inhale,

The light grows brighter,

Filling you with warmth and energy and with each exhale,

Allow this light to expand.

With each and every breath,

The light reaches to the edges of the body,

Reaching outwards to fill you up.

This light is a source of strength and positivity within you and it surrounds you.

It will guide you throughout your day.

Taking a moment here to breathe and marinate in this feeling.

Taking a few more gentle breaths,

Maintaining this feeling of lightness,

Warmth,

And peace.

And when you're ready,

Begin to bring subtle movement back into your fingers and toes,

Maybe your wrists and ankles,

Gently reawakening your body.

Raise the edges of your limbs into a smile and as you open your eyes,

Take a moment of gratitude for this time you've carved out for yourself.

Carry this sense of peace and purpose with you throughout your day.
