Welcome to this guided meditation designed to help you connect with spirit and meet your spirit guides.
This meditation will also invite any loved ones who have passed to come forward.
Find a comfortable position either sitting or lying down and gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale let go of any tension or stress.
Allow yourself to fully relax and be present in this moment.
Let's begin by focusing more closely on your breath.
You'll be taking a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs,
Holding it for a moment and then slowly exhaling through your mouth.
And as you do so,
Feel the tension leaving your body with each breath.
Let's try.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Hold and exhale slowly through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale deeply,
Hold and exhale slowly.
And one more time,
Inhale deeply,
Hold and exhale slowly.
Now,
Allow your breathing to return to its natural rhythm.
With each breath,
Feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed.
Now,
As we sit in tranquility,
Imagine a beautiful,
Pure,
Violet-colored light sitting at the very top of your head.
Imagine that that light will gently touch every part of your body as it embraces you and relaxes you completely.
Feel the light as it moves down your forehead,
Releasing any tension.
Feel it move to your eyes and your cheeks and your jaw,
Relaxing all of those muscles.
Feel it move down your neck and shoulders,
And roll your shoulders gently to release any tightness and let them fall comfortably at your sides.
Feel that violet,
Divine light move down your arms to your hands and fingers,
Relaxing every muscle.
Feel it move down your chest,
Your back,
Your spine,
Taking with it any stress along the way.
And now,
To your abdomen and hips,
Releasing those muscles.
And finally,
That light and its energy moves down your legs,
To your feet and toes,
Relaxing you fully every time it travels.
You are now completely relaxed and at peace.
So now,
Imagine yourself in a beautiful,
Serene place.
This could be a lush forest,
A tranquil beach with a blue sky,
Or in the middle of a peaceful meadow.
In your mind's eye,
Imagine wherever you feel most at peace and connected to nature.
In this serene place of your choosing,
You'll see a path in front of you.
Begin to walk down this path,
Feeling the ground beneath your feet anchoring you to the earth and the gentle breeze on your skin.
And as you walk slowly and gently,
You feel a sense of calm and anticipation,
Knowing that you are about to meet your spirit guides.
As you continue down the path,
You come to a clearing.
In the center of the clearing,
There is a circle of the purest,
Whitest light you can imagine.
Step slowly into this circle and feel its warmth and protection.
Now,
Silently or out loud,
Invite your spirit guides to step forward.
It's as simple as saying,
I invite my spirit guides to come and meet me.
I am open to your guidance and wisdom.
Take a moment to observe your surroundings.
You may see,
Hear,
Feel or smell the presence of your spirit guides.
They may appear as light,
As the smell of fragrant flowers,
As indistinct figures or even animals.
Trust whatever comes to you and believe.
Take a few moments to connect with your spirit guides if they come forward.
You may ask them questions or simply sit and feel their loving presence.
Know that they are here to support and guide you,
And they have been with you from the moment of your birth and will never leave you until the moment of your passing.
If you feel comfortable,
You can ask your spirit guides to help bring forward any loved ones who have passed.
It's as simple as saying,
I ask my spirit guides to bring forward any loved ones who have passed over and who wish to connect with me now.
Take a moment to see if you can sense the presence of any loved ones who may come forward.
Again,
Like your guides,
You may feel their love and warmth.
You may smell a pleasant aroma that was always associated with your loved one.
You may hear a noise or a song that is evidence of your loved one's presence.
Or you may receive more distinct from them.
Trust whatever comes to you and know that you are surrounded by love and support.
Don't feel under any pressure to meet your guides or your loved ones this time around.
The more you practice guided spirit meditations,
The better the chances that your energy will be open to mixing with the energy and love of spirit.
So for now,
When you feel ready,
Thank your spirit guides and any loved ones who might have come forward.
You might say something like thank you for your presence,
Guidance,
And love.
I am so grateful for this connection.
Or you may choose any words of your own with which you are most comfortable.
As we draw this meditation to a close,
Begin to slowly bring your awareness back to your physical surroundings.
Feel the ground beneath you and the air around you.
Take a few deep breaths.
In through the nose.
Out through the mouth.
In through the nose.
Out through the mouth.
When you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Take a moment to sit quietly and reflect on your experience.
Know that you can return to this place and connect with your spirit guides and loved ones whenever you wish.
And we give thanks to spirit,
Our guides,
Our loved ones.
And may you carry the peace and connection you felt today with you now and always.
