This one is really close to my heart.
Because there were years of my life where I was at war with my own body.
I didn't like what I saw in the mirror.
I lived with back pain for years.
I had migraines every single week since I was a teenager.
From the age of 14 on,
I took 3 or 4 painkillers every week.
I was constantly fighting my body.
And instead of nurturing it,
I punished it.
More intense workouts,
More pushing,
Less food,
More control.
Every time I looked in the mirror,
The voice in my head was harsh,
Touching and critical.
And the truth is,
I would have never talked to my friends the way I talk to my own body.
But since I started working with the body,
With fascia,
With pain,
Really understanding how the body works,
And helping people transform their relationship with their bodies from hate and war into love and gratitude,
I realized something really important.
So many people are at war with their own bodies.
And I want you to ask yourself something.
What has your body actually done to you?
Your body is working every single day to keep you alive,
To help you survive,
To carry you through your life,
To get you where you want to go.
It has been with you from the very first day,
And it will be with you until your very last day on this earth.
It is the home of your soul.
And so often we respond to all of that with frustration,
With anger,
With hate.
And the moment we shift from fighting our body and being on the same team,
Something changes.
Because your thoughts don't stop in your head.
They ripple through your entire body.
They affect your nervous system,
Your immune system,
Even your DNA.
And this isn't just spiritual talk.
There are countless experiences,
Studies,
And health centers showing how meditation,
Positive thoughts,
And a shift in perception can completely transform health.
I've worked with people who healed from chronic pain.
I worked with a woman who healed from fibromyalgia in just a few sessions by changing how she related to her body and her life.
And there were so many stories like this all over the world.
So I want you to really hear this today.
Your body is not against you.
It never was.
And at the moment you choose to be on its side,
To work together instead of fighting,
Healing begins.
Not because you force it,
But because you finally feel safe enough to let it happen.
Your body is on your side.
Always.
