My name is Dana DeMara.
So glad you're here.
I am going to take you through a meditation on grounding.
So as always,
Please ready your space.
Allow yourself to find a comfortable seat in a place where you can feel undisturbed and undistracted.
And when you do that,
I want you to take a few deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
So allow yourself to clear your space,
This beautiful vessel you call your body.
And,
You know,
The reality is we are this beacon of resonance of lights,
And we take on a lot of stuff throughout the day.
So when I ask you to take those deep breaths out,
You know,
Just really stick the tongue out,
Maybe move the hands around a little bit,
Just kind of shake off any residual energy that you don't need for right now.
This will help you to ground deeper.
And then once you feel settled,
Go ahead and close the eyes and begin to find your ujjayi breath.
So that breath that comes in through the nose and out through the nose.
Notice these first few focused breaths relieves any tension in the face and jaw,
In the shoulders and the hands.
Maybe you notice you're leaning forward,
Bring your body back a little bit.
And then I want you to place your awareness on your two sit bones and imagine them to be two tap roots.
So you have these two tap roots coming from the sit bones rooting down into the very center of the earth,
They reach past whatever it is that you're seated on the floorboards,
The foundation of the building you're in,
Maybe you're right at the earth,
Good for you.
And allow those two tap roots to reach all the way to the center of the succulents of the earth.
I like to imagine those tap roots as a beautiful red wine color like a merlot color,
Very dark,
Strong rooted.
From those two tap roots,
There are many offshoot roots.
So you begin to notice these little mini root systems coming from those two and begin to create a web of roots underneath your body.
Shooting out to the north,
The south,
The east,
The west of that root system.
And every time you breathe in,
You create more strength in that root system.
Begin to feel very sturdy.
That same sort of energy and breath and deep feeling of rootedness now begins to travel through your bone structure.
So your bones are completely nourished all the way to the marrow with this idea of rooting into the earth.
And any part of your body that is disconnected,
That is feeling fearful,
Frustrated,
Begins to find nourishment and sustenance of this beautiful breath that is coming straight from the center of the earth.
Your whole body from the center of your bones,
All the way to the edges of your bones into your bloodstream,
To your muscles.
Every part of who you are gets this nourishment from the center of the earth.
This beautiful,
Beautiful red color fills the body.
Any part of you that feels frayed,
Nervous,
Unsure of your next step is filled with this energy directly from the center of the earth.
Your breaths become deeper,
Longer.
And you feel unshakable.
You can feel the resonance of deep grounding connection to the center of the earth.
And anything that is not that feeling begins to dissolve into the earth as compost.
Your fears drop away,
Your lack of self-confidence drops away,
Instability,
Uncertainty drops away,
And you begin to feel this sense of deep nourishment from Mother Gaia.
You can stay here as long as you'd like,
As long as you need.
You can always pause the recording.
But I'd like you to feel the sense of deep connection as you begin to gently flutter the fingers,
Maybe open the eyes.
And as you open the eyes,
Notice the difference in how you feel.
Before you go about the rest of your day,
Just look at your surroundings and remember how held you are by the center of the earth.
Allow yourself to feel unshakable,
Clear,
Confident.
