I'm Dakota and I'll be joining you on this journey.
You can begin by lying down or getting in a relaxed position that you feel comfortable in.
Gently close your eyes and as you listen to my voice,
Don't think about anything that happened today that can cause discomfort.
Allow yourself to just be here and in this moment,
Trust your body can find its best way to let go naturally.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly let it out through your mouth.
Feel the rhythm of your breathing at a calm,
Relaxed pace.
As you breathe in and out,
Feel all the sensations in your body moving up from your feet to your legs,
Your hands and your arms all the way up to your head.
As you feel the sensations moving in your body,
Allow any tension and discomfort to just fade away.
Continuing to breathe in and out,
Imagine yourself walking down some stairs.
They have this glow around them.
Stepping down to the first step,
You feel a little more at peace.
Stepping down to the second step,
You start to hear the sound of a bird chirping in the distance.
As you step down to the third step,
You feel tranquility.
Stepping down to the fourth step,
You feel a slight breeze coming from in front of you,
But it's warm and wraps you like a soft blanket.
Stepping down to the fifth and final step,
You can see a light in front of you and you step through it.
You are on a path in a beautiful forest.
Looking down,
You can see designs from the leaves being hit by the warming sun.
You can hear water nearby moving down the mountain at a slow pace.
You start to walk towards the sound of the water and as you walk,
You can feel the soft soil under your shoes with each step you take.
As you get closer and closer to the sound,
You feel more relaxed and at peace.
Coming over a small hill,
You can see the path leads to a connecting path along the river.
As you move along this path by the river,
You look over to the right and you can see the aqua blue water.
It looks like it has a glow to it.
The water looks so peaceful,
Leaving you feeling calm inside.
You can't help but take a deep breath in and slowly let it out through your nose,
Smelling that beautiful,
Fresh mountain air.
You move down the path some more and off to the left you can see a small green field with an elk grazing in it.

This magnificent creature looks calm and relaxed.
You can't help but stare for a while.
Looking back towards the path,
You start to move further down as it follows the aqua blue river.
The dirt path feels like clouds under your feet as you walk.
As you start to move further down the path,
You can see that the path leads to an opening up ahead.
It looks like you can see water,
But you can't tell for sure.
You decide to move closer to the opening.
The closer you get,
You start to feel a sense of peace and warmth.
Coming over the little dirt hill in front of the opening,
You can see a beautiful aqua blue lake just glistening from the sun hitting it.
Facing the lake is the path that you've been following as it goes around the lake.
Where the river connects to the lake there's a little stone bridge that looks like it's been made from the water carving under the stone.
As you stare at the lake you can hear birds singing from a branch nearby.
Looking over in that direction of the bird,
You can see a small grass field right by the water.
Thinking to yourself,
You want to go look at that field.
It looks like a beautiful place to relax.
Looking over in the direction of the bird,
You start to walk across the stone bridge onto the path around the lake towards the grass field.
Each step you take,
You feel more peace,
More happiness and love.
When you reach the little grass field,
You sit down and look over to the lake.
You can see fish jumping out of the water.
Looking up you see some clouds floating gently across the blue sky,
So you lay back and count them as they float by.

You feel comfort.

You are filled with love.

You feel happy.

You feel your body is healed.

You feel tranquility.
After laying down for a while,
You sit back up to look at the aqua blue lake.
Breathing in and out,
This place is beautiful and feels welcoming.
You are safe and free here.
Standing up,
You head back over to the path and continue to head around the rest of the lake,
Walking slowly and enjoying this place because it brings peace.
You can see there's a wooden bench further around the path.
When you're about a foot away,
You can see that there's carvings in this bench,
Carvings of flowers and wildlife.
They look so beautiful and relaxing.
You sit down and the bench feels like clouds.
You take a deep breath and smell the mountain air.
When you're ready to leave this place,
Head back around the lake and out the opening that leads up the path by the aqua blue river,
Past where you can see the elk grazing in the distance,
To the connecting path that led you to the sound of the water before.
Going back up the connecting path,
You can see the light where you can step through to go back up the stairs.
As you move back up the stairs,
You are back in your room.
You can feel all the sensations in your body as the light stays with you.
When you're ready to open your eyes,
Take with you the feeling of peace,
Happiness,
Tranquility,
And love.
