What is going on everybody?
I hope you're having an absolutely incredible day today and that it is going wonderfully.
In the last episode we went over taking action and how you have to take action to really get anywhere in life because if you see that you need to do something then just go do it and take the action and get it done because thinking about it is not going to do anything and you have to have action to be able to do anything.
But in this episode we're going to go over setting your goals because you can do actions and everything on stuff that you know you need to do but if you don't set a goal then because you can take action on stuff that you can see that you need to do but you need to set goals and take action on those goals every single day to be able to get where you want to be.
So you kind of have to have both to be able to do anything.
And one of the biggest things is setting goals every single day.
Like every day that you wake up you need to set goals.
They can be small goals or big goals because you're going to have big goals that will take a long time to do but you also have to have your little goals to be able to get to the big goals.
And I know I've talked about goals a lot in this podcast already but it's because it's such a major major thing.
If you're not setting goals then you're probably not getting anything done if you're not setting goals.
So one of the major things is setting goals.
And successful people will talk about it all the time.
You have to set goals,
You have to set goals.
So one of the biggest things is setting goals every single day.
Something that I do is I'll wake up every single day and just figure out what I need to get done.
What I want to do and what I want to get done for the day.
And I'll just write them down and I'll make sure that I do all those things the day I want to get them done.
And sometimes I'll set goals for like maybe in a couple days I want to have this done by that time.
But it's good just to have those goals because it pushes you to do them by seeing it every single day.
And you read it,
When you read it you see that you need to do it.
So it pushes you to do it.
Something that Jim Rowan said was you cannot change your destination overnight but you can change your direction overnight.
Which is goals.
You choose where you want to be.
Choose where you want to be in five months.
Where you want to be in six months.
Choose where you want to be in a week.
And to do that you have to write down the goals.
Because seeing the goals will motivate you to get that done.
Or whatever it is that you're doing.
So you need to make goals every single day.
And make a big goal where you want to be.
Take the action to do those goals.
Because you can do anything you set your mind to but you just have to have the motivation to do it.
To do it every single day.
You have to work hard on it every single day.
And you have to set the goals to get there.
Don't think about how you're going to get there.
Just set goals as to what you want to do.
Like set goals for the little things and accomplish the little things.
And then how you get to the big one is.
.
.
So set your little goals and it'll make like a path to the big one.
It might not happen exactly how you think it's going to happen.
But setting goals is definitely a major thing to do.
And be patient.
Be patient.
A lot of people are not patient.
It's not going to happen right away.
And it usually doesn't.
It never really does.
Unless you're one of the lucky few that it does happen pretty fast.
But everyone's on their own path.
And it's not going to happen right away.
So be patient.
Keep chugging along.
If something gets hard,
You can keep doing it.
Just keep pushing and pushing and pushing.
Because you can do it.
It might take a little while and it might be hard.
But setting those goals is going to help you.
It's going to push you.
But you have to be patient.
Because we live in a microwave era.
Where people want things right now.
So they give up when they don't get it right now.
So don't be stuck in the microwave era.
You need to wait.
Just slow down a little bit.
And be patient for it.
Because it's going to end up being better anyway if you're patient.
You don't want things to happen right away.
Wait for it.
And you will end up getting it eventually.
It just might not be exactly when you want it.
So just slow down a little bit and wait for it.
You can do this.
And the goals that you accomplish will get you to where you want to be.
So make sure you're setting those goals every single day.
So start right now.
If you're just waking up and you're getting ready for work.
Or whatever it is.
It doesn't have to be a ton of goals.
It can be just a couple.
But set at least one goal or a couple goals every single day that you need to do.
And it doesn't have to be towards whatever you're going for.
But just doing goals every single day will help you get to where you want to be.
Because the more goals you accomplish,
The happier you'll be anyway.
Because you'll feel like you're accomplishing things.
Because you will be accomplishing things.
So set your goals every single day.
And do those goals.
Take action and do them.
And you'll be where you want to be in a year or wherever it is.
Wherever you want to be.
You'll be there.
Just make sure you put in the work to get there.
