Dakota's Motivating Tips,

Where I give you advice about life and moving forward.

What is going on everybody,

I hope you are having an absolutely incredible day today and that it is going wonderfully.

So in the last episode we went over how you have to visualize.

You have to visualize that you are where you want to be already.

You have to visualize that you are at the place you want to be already.

Not only does this help you have faith in yourself,

It also helps you not let the doubt creep in and it proves to yourself that you can.

You can do this.

Don't let the other side that says you can't do this creep in.

Let the side that says you can do this motivate you and to push you.

Not only does visualizing help you get there easier because it doesn't let doubt creep in,

It also attracts it to you.

The things that you want it will attract it to you.

Well in this episode we are going to go over how you have to be grateful and thankful for the things in your life that you have already.

Look for things in your life that you can be thankful and grateful for.

Because this will bring happiness into your life.

To see how much you actually do have.

Because sometimes not all of us realize how much good we have in our life.

We just think about all the things we don't have.

Because when you are scrolling through social media or something else you see all these amazing things that people have in their life.

But people don't post the bad parts of their life very often.

They just post the good things.

They post all the good things that are happening in their life and then it can sometimes bring sadness or depression into other people's life because that's all they see is goodness.

And then they compare it to their life and they realize and they feel like they don't have anything themselves.

But take a step back and look at what you actually do have in your life.

You have a lot of amazing things.

Be thankful for the things that you do have.

If you have all your limbs be thankful for that because not everybody does.

If you have eyesight be thankful for that because not everybody has eyesight.

There's so many things you can be thankful for.

Be thankful that you are living right now.

Be thankful that you have a job if you have a job right now.

Be thankful that you have a family.

Be thankful that you have amazing friends in your life.

Find things that you can be thankful for.

Don't compare your life to other people's because I'm sure you have so many so many things amazing in your life but sometimes we get too caught up in the world.

So take a step back from the world and find things that you are thankful for.

Look for the miracles in your life.

Because we've all had at least one.

I'm sure of it.

There's so many miracles that happen in everyone's life.

Everyone's lives.

But sometimes we just skim over it.

We don't really think about it much.

We just go on day to day.

And we don't look at all the amazing things we actually do have in our lives.

Be thankful for the hard times.

Because those hard times will help you be thankful for the good times.

The hard times lead to the good times.

The hard times help us grow and it's helped us become who we are today.

So we have to be thankful for all these things in our life.

And how you can do this is if you wake up every morning and find different things you can be thankful for every day.

At least two or three or something like that.

Find some things that you can be thankful for.

Different things.

Don't say the same thing every day because then it will just become a routine.

You just,

Well you want it to be a routine because you want to say it every day but don't say the same thing every day because you don't want that part to be a routine.

So find different things every single day that you can be thankful for.

Because this will bring happiness into your life because it will show you how much amazing things you have in your life.

And it will bring happiness into your life because you can see that.

And I guarantee when you find things to be thankful in your life,

Your life will be so much better because you'll just be happy to see that you have so much in your life already.

Yeah we strive for more and we want more.

And it's good to have goals and to strive for more because that's what this podcast is about.

But we also have to be thankful for what we already do have.

Be thankful that you've had so many opportunities.

Be thankful that you've grown so much over the past how many years or weeks or whatever it may be.

Be thankful for all these things in your life.

And don't compare yourself to other people.

And I hope that you have absolutely an incredible day today and you make this day yours.

One of the things I say all the time is,

Make this day yours.

Because you have the ability to make this an amazing day or you have the ability to sit back and not do anything and not have an amazing day.

So make today amazing.

Make today yours.

Make today the day you start going for your goals.

And be thankful for everything that you already have.

And be thankful for the things that are to come.
