You can begin by making yourself as comfortable as possible by either lying down or sitting in a relaxed position.
Allow yourself to just be here now.
As you listen to my voice,
Your body can begin to feel relaxed.
Trust your body can find its best way to let go naturally.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly let it out through your mouth.
One more time,
Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly let it out through your mouth.
As you continue to breathe in and out,
Feel all the sensations in your body.
Let anything that is hurting fade away.
Imagine yourself walking downstairs.
You slowly step down one step and start to hear a bird chirping in the distance.
As you continue to step down to a second step,
You feel calm and relaxed.
As you step down to the third step,
You see light shining in on you from up ahead.
It feels warm.
You step down to the fourth step.
You feel a slight breeze,
But it feels nice and refreshing.
You step down to the fifth and last step,
Feeling confident and strong.
You look at the light and step through.
You're on a path in a beautiful forest.
The path is soft as you feel the soil under your shoes,
The warm sun coming through the trees making a pattern on the ground.
As you walk,
Your body relaxes and your mind clears with each step you take.
Breathe in the fresh mountain air.
Now exhale,
Feeling refreshed.
You can see a bright blue pond on the side of the path.
The water looks peaceful.
Each step closer to the pond,
You feel more and more tranquility.
As you sit by the pond,
You can see some fish jumping out of the water,
Feeling free.
Breathe in the fresh air,
Feeling happy.
Exhale.
Lay back on the hill by the pond and you can look up to see the blue sky.
Small white clouds float gently across the sky.
Watching them drift by,
You feel at peace.
When you're ready to leave this peaceful place,
Walk back on the path to the light and up the stairs.
As you reawaken,
Keep with you the feeling of calm,
Peace,
Happiness,
And relaxation.
Feel your body awaken with the light coming through your feet,
Up your body,
All the way to your head.
When you feel ready,
Open your eyes,
Feeling awake and refreshed.
