Good morning and welcome to Cultivate Your Wellness.
My name is Laura.
I'm so happy you're here.
This quick morning meditation is an opportunity to start your day centered and grounded,
To pause in stillness and cultivate a positive mindset to carry with you as you continue on your journey today.
I like to do this meditation even before getting out of bed.
Just sit up and make yourself comfortable.
Let's begin.
I invite you to close your eyes or soften your gaze.
If you're sitting up,
Bringing some length to your spine and some relaxation to your shoulders.
Let your hands rest gently where they feel comfortable,
Softening the muscles of the face,
The belly,
The legs.
Taking in a deep inhale,
Feeling the air as it enters through your nose or mouth and fills your chest.
Exhaling,
Releasing anything left over from the night,
Anything left over from yesterday.
Staying with the breath,
Long intentional inhales,
Long releasing exhales.
Staying in this stillness a little longer,
Feeling the relaxation,
This wakeful rest.
And now I invite you to bring some awareness to your day ahead,
Imagining how you'd like it to go.
Not so much the to-dos or the have-tos,
The needs.
Just focusing on how you'd like to feel and what presence you'd like to embody throughout your day.
Setting these feelings as your intentions and connecting them to your breath.
With each inhale,
Breathing in,
Invigorating that positive energy,
Feeding these intentions.
And with the exhale,
Releasing the doubts,
Releasing the worries.
Breathing in trust in yourself,
Believing you are capable of living a life with this intention and exhaling,
Releasing again into the stillness.
Anytime you feel yourself getting caught up or losing track of your intentions,
Return to the breath.
Remember the positivity you've cultivated this morning.
Feel free to pause the video now and continue meditating on your own.
I hope you have a beautiful day filled with all the love and hope you carry.
Thank you for allowing me to share this meditation with you.
I look forward to guiding you again.
Bye for now.
