When our partner serves us love and compassion, how deeply do we drink it in? Often our partners give us love on a daily basis. However, when we savor this love and every ripple it echoes in our body something different happens. We develop a somatic felt sense of this love—an embodied deep knowing. Here we unwind old grief tucked away in hard-to-reach places and tension perhaps we didn't know we were carrying. This practice strengthens and clears out the pathway of connection between you two.

Welcome,

My name is Jordan Rowe and I'm so excited to share this delicious and connective practice with you two today.

Let's begin by coming to a bed or somewhere soft that you will eventually come to lay down in.

Just for now,

Sitting across from each other,

Face to face,

And grab anything you need to be comfortable.

Maybe a pillow or a blanket and settle in.

Take each other's hands and let your eyes make contact with each other.

Landing in each other's gaze,

Take a deep breath in and let it all the way out.

One more,

Breathing into the bottom of your belly and all the way up into your shoulders.

And exhale.

Relax into your partner's gaze.

Relax into their touch,

Into their presence.

And just take a moment to feel them.

Fall into this space,

Co-created by each other.

The synergy composed by the muting of your energies.

Give anywhere that you notice tension in your body permission to soften.

Take a deep breath in and exhale all the way out.

Empty yourself to their presence.

There is nothing else to focus on.

Only feel.

Let your mind take a rest and tune into the eyes of your senses.

Just deep breath in and breathing all the way out.

We will move into a delicious practice to fully drink in our partner's love somatically,

Running through the body.

So if your love language is physical touch,

This practice is especially nourishing for you.

However,

If this is a place that perhaps is an edge for you to really surrender into,

This is also a great practice because you get to practice peeling off the layers and finding what is underneath these layers in a safe place,

In a dedicated space.

So have one partner come to lay down while the other remains sitting.

For the partner lying down,

Make yourself comfortable.

Perhaps a pillow behind the knees could add to this experience.

Your only job is to let yourself relax into the support of the bed and your partner's presence.

Just allow yourself to receive the love they will nourish you with.

For the partner who is sitting upright,

Take a deep breath in and breathing out.

Begin to connect to the love and adoration you feel for your partner.

These next few minutes will be your chance to communicate to them and bathe them non-verbally with your love and affection through your touch.

You may wish to bring one hand to your heart,

Connecting to this space inside of you that holds this unconditional love,

This fierce yet tender place of deep connection.

So bring your hands to softly into your partner's aura,

First letting your hands hover about six inches above their body.

And let's just deepen into our intention here.

Connect to your desire to embrace them with your whole heart,

As if with your touch you can reach every part of them,

All of their pain and joy,

Every single aspect of them,

And tenderly whisper messages of love.

Deep breath in and sighing out on the exhale.

In your own timing,

Follow your intuitive impulses and begin to explore their body with this message of love.

Perhaps exploring,

Placing your hands on their heart and massaging here,

As if to say it's safe to let go of anything you're holding.

You are safe.

Darling,

I see you.

I appreciate you.

Rest.

Allow yourself to deeply rest in my presence.

Just receive this love.

You can express this love to them in any ways that you wish to reach their senses,

Using your breath,

Your lips,

Heavy pressure or soft pressure,

However you express your love.

Do so intentionally,

Placing behind every movement of yours,

Even within stillness,

This nonverbal conveying of present giving love.

Rest.

Listen to how their bodies respond.

As their breath begins to deepen,

Just explore how this message of potent love wants to express itself through your body and reach into the cells of your partner's body.

For the partner lying down,

Keep breathing.

Let yourself release anywhere you are holding on and place all of your focus on the sensation of their touch.

Listen to this beautiful Life S晴遠亂 當心繽紛 towels while laying down.

Welcome to this relaxing meditation music.

And partner offering their touch,

Begin to slow down.

Working a little more slowly.

Let your touch dance on the edge of stillness.

Let the last moments of this somatic conversation be amplified in the rich slowness of your touch.

Breathe and come to full stillness.

Let's both take a breath together,

Deep breath in.

.

.

And breathing out,

Letting yourself settle into the wake left behind this experience.

Give your partner's hand a squeeze and take three more deep breaths together before bringing them back up to seated.

;) As you both reach seated position,

Wrap each other in a tight embrace,

Grounding deeper into this beauty co-created by both of you.

Just by coming together today and dedicating this time to open to the full spectrum of love shared between you.

And slowly letting go.

You can go ahead and switch places,

Bringing the partner who just gave their loving touch to come to lay down,

Resting into the support of the bed or cushions beneath you.

Place a pillow behind the knees if this could support you.

Let's begin by taking a deep breath together,

Breathing all the way in and all the way out.

Let yourself soften into this non-verbal place of being,

Of sharing presence together.

For the partner who will be giving touch,

Perhaps you may wish to bring your hands to rest on your heart as you tune into the message of comforting love,

Tune into relieving presence,

Deep compassion,

Present listening.

Breathing in,

Filling your belly,

Unbreathing out,

Letting yourself empty in full devotion to the energy of your heart.

Bring your hands to hover in your partner's energetic field above their body.

Begin to sense them already,

Tuning into them and listening for where you feel pulled to bring your loving presence to.

Without thinking,

But sensing from the place of your heart,

Begin to nourish them with your love.

Let them receive this love through their open senses,

Using your fingers,

Your palms,

Your breath,

Your intention to fill them with this compassion.

Be'st choice yet?

For the partner lying down,

Keep breathing.

Let yourself release anywhere you are holding on and place all of your focus on the sensation of their touch.

Meisten labour pain.

♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ As you both reach seated position,

Come into a comfortable position where you can both rest,

Wrapped in each other's tight embrace.

Grounding into the shared love,

Strengthened by both of your dedication of time,

Energy,

And presence today.

Take a deep breath in.

Feeling each other's breath rising against you.

And breathing out.

Feel your partner empty in your arms.

And breathing out.

Letting your nervous systems co-regulate in each other's presence.

Last time,

Breathing in.

And breathing all the way out.

Rest in this point of contact.

And open your awareness to each arising sensation here.

Perhaps you can notice the rush of oxytocin,

The cuddle hormone,

Produced by the hypothalamus,

And released by the pituitary gland when we're physically affectionate.

How does this feel in your body?

Notice the warmth of your partner's skin.

Perhaps the stilling of your mind.

Or the subtle deepening of your breath.

Take a deep breath in together.

And on the exhale,

Let out a yummy,

Pleasure-filled sigh.

Letting this sigh communicate to your bodies that you are fully safe here.

Fully safe to drop any guard,

Any walls,

To the fullness of this shared presence.

Slowly,

Slowly,

More slow than you are already picturing,

Soften the pressure of your embrace.

And gently release from your hug.

Come back to look your partner in the eye.

And again,

Non-verbally,

As if you can communicate through your eyes,

Share a silent gratitude for your partner's giving,

For creating this nourishing and rejuvenating space between you.

Thanking them for their trust to open up to you fully.

Bring your own palms to meet together in front of your heart,

In Anjali Mudra,

Prayer position.

And bow your head slightly,

In honoration of the light residing both within you and your partner.

Thank you for joining me in this practice today.
