Start to settle into your body.

Close your eyes if it feels right for you.

Take a nice big inhale,

Pause,

And exhale.

One more inhale,

And release.

Being in tune with yourself as you get focused,

Feeling your feet here in your skates.

Maybe give your toes a wiggle to get grounded.

Visualize yourself confidently stepping onto the ice.

Your speed is powerful.

Really feeling all of this in your heart and your body.

Your stick is a natural extension of you.

Feel how fast and accurate you handle the puck,

Making perfect passes,

Executing plays with your team,

Shooting exactly where you aim,

Seeing the goals,

Assists,

And team plays,

And feeling your love for the game.

Positive energy,

Communication,

And determination connects you and your team.

Feeling that excitement,

Feeling ready,

Feeling energized.

One more breath in,

And exhale.

Open your eyes.
