The wheel of the year turns once more to the Sabbath of Yule.
With love and light do we embrace the season of Yule and each other.
We now celebrate the winter solstice.
Solstice begins to retreat and light begins its return once again.
As the wheel continues to spin,
The sun returns to us once more.
Autumn has fled and we now enjoy a time of slumber.
The days will now grow longer.
Thus ends the season of the crone,
Heralding the return of the maiden.
Newly born is the sun king.
All hail the longest night.
All hail the winter goddess.
The sky above us is gray right now,
But soon the bright sun will come and awaken us again by bringing us warmth and light.
Even through the longest nights,
As the earth slumbered,
Our ancestors knew the light would return to us and life would continue.
So too,
We now honor the turning of the wheel and sit vigil to the rebirth of light.
We are blessed by the light of the sun.
Yule blessings to all.
