Relaxation through the freedom that comes from internal focus.
Begin this meditation in a position that is comfortable for you.
This can be sitting or lying down.
Close your eyes and focus on your breath as you allow your jaw and shoulders to soften.
Relax your neck.
Release any tension your body might be storing.
Keep your concentration on your breath.
Give yourself permission to free your mind of fear,
Worry,
Judgment and any other impostors that seek to impede your happiness and clarity.
Give yourself permission to recall something that makes you smile.
Give yourself permission to spend a few moments imagining and daydreaming about whatever you like.
Give yourself permission to recognize that this is your time and that you are deserving of it.
Give yourself permission to accept a compliment you recently received.
Give yourself permission to forgive and love yourself.
At your own pace,
Invite subtle movements into your body.
Let your eyes open slowly.
Take three deep breaths realizing that you sought and received permission from yourself and no one else.
