Begin this meditation in a position that is comfortable for you.
Close your eyes.
Relax your jaw,
Your shoulders,
Anywhere you might be storing tension.
Take several deep breaths.
As you do so,
Focus on the momentum of your breath.
We don't only experience momentum when we move our bodies.
Momentum also exists and lives in our thoughts,
Words,
And actions.
Momentum is in play.
When you see someone in need and choose to help them,
Momentum exists in constructive and positive thoughts.
It exists in meditation because,
Even though we're taking a few minutes to slow down,
You have made the decision to do just that,
And that decision shows strength.
There is momentum in your smile and your laughter,
And this denomination of momentum is the most beautiful because it goes on and on and touches those around you.
The person ringing up your groceries saw your smile.
Someone in a restaurant heard you laugh.
That part of your momentum is like spreading around treasure chests from yourself as you leave your footsteps on this planet.
Focus on the good and positive momentum in your life,
My dear friend.
Take a few moments to consider the times you've used strength or movement to better the lives of others,
To better yourself.
At your own pace,
Begin bringing subtle movements into your fingers and toes,
And eventually into the rest of your body,
As this meditation concludes.
When you are ready,
Open your eyes and take another deep breath.
Again,
Focusing on the momentum of your breath.
We don't only experience momentum when we move our bodies.
Momentum also exists and lives in our thoughts,
Words,
And actions.
The crow flies from me to thee,
To send the message,
Blessed be.
Stay rooted,
But keep reaching.
Namaste.
Namaste.
