The following meditation can be valuable to initiating healing within yourself.
If you are feeling ungrounded,
Turn up the color red.
If you are looking to gain guidance or direction,
Allow your guides to join you.
Pay attention to any animals that may appear.
Be open and allow this meditation to unfold by surrendering control and resistance in the safety of this space.
Get comfortable and close your eyes.
Feel your breath moving in and out with the rise and fall of your chest.
Your body feels softer with every inhale,
More relaxed with every exhale.
Soon your body grows heavy.
You begin to feel a soft light warming your face.
You open your eyes and see a path form a few yards in front of you.
As you step onto the path,
You hear the sounds of your footsteps on the ground beneath you.
What is the path made of?
How does it sound?
How does it feel?
With every step,
The path reveals more of itself to you.
Trees begin to fill in along the path until you find yourself walking through the woods.
Pause for a moment.
Tune into your senses.
What can you smell?
What do you see?
What do you hear?
What do you feel?
You download that You notice a clearing up ahead.
Watch the entrance of this clearing.
As you reach the entrance,
You step into the clearing.
Look around.
Take in the scenery.
Take your way to the center of this space and sit down.
Using all of your senses,
Take in all this space has to offer.
Ask this clearing to provide you with healing and all the layers of your being.
Notice the gentle shifts that take place as healing begins to wash through you.
Notice all that happens around you.
Do the colors deepen or grow brighter?
Do the animals draw close?
Perhaps a being of light joins you.
Be open to all the gifts and healing in this space.
You are safe.
It is now time to leave this space.
It will be here waiting for your return.
Slowly stand and make your way back to the entrance of this clearing.
Before you step back on the path that led you here,
Pause and give thanks for all that you have received today.
Step back onto the path and walk back toward the place you began.
As you return to the beginning,
You feel the transformation that has taken place within you.
You are filled with a deep sense of lasting peace and healing.
Allow your focus to return back to your breath and invite your awareness to settle back into your body.
When you are ready,
Slowly,
Gently open your eyes.
