Close your eyes,
Soften your face,
Begin to notice your breath moving in through your nose and out through your mouth.
As you soften your belly and your back,
Feel your body move with every breath.
Feel your shoulders rise and your chest expand with every inhale.
Feel your body soften and relax just a little with every exhale.
Relax your face,
Relax your jaw,
Release the tension you're holding in your shoulders,
Relax your hips and your thighs.
Feel your feet connect with the ground.
Maybe you can hear your heartbeat or your breath.
Take a long deep inhale,
Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
As you deepen your breath,
Start to move your arms and your legs,
Gently opening your eyes,
Taking in one more deep inhale and then on your exhale continue to move forward in your day.
Coming back to this two-minute practice anytime you need to reground and reconnect with yourself knowing that the more you come back the easier it will become.
