You know,
On a serious note,
I think a lot of the time,
It takes strength and courage,
Both mentally and physically,
To get through a situation in your life that normally we would run from,
Right?
Let's face it,
We all like us running trainers,
We all like us sneakers.
If we can run from it,
If we can avoid it,
If we can maintain it and just live in it,
Then we will do that as human beings,
Versus facing something that could be an unknown,
Something that could be scary,
Difficult,
Challenging,
Uncomfortable.
That's us,
Human beings,
If possible,
Give ourselves some grace here,
Whenever possible,
We will take the easy path.
It's the root of human nature to take the easier path.
And sometimes it's a good reminder to think,
Okay,
Where is my strength?
Where is my courage?
It's in there somewhere.
I know it is because I've achieved so many things in my life.
But how do I do this?
This is about gentle force and determination.
Please close down your eyes and settle into your body,
Your beautiful,
Breathing,
Sweet,
Alive body.
Breathe,
Breathe,
Let go of your day so far.
Shut out the rest of the world because this is your special time.
Your time to just be with yourself,
Your beautiful self.
Relax your shoulders down away from your ears.
Make sure that your body is comfortable for your meditation.
And then see if you can drop into just flowing with your breath.
Drop into it,
Like let everything go and just drop into a place where all you're feeling and thinking about is the pace,
The depth,
The feeling of your breath.
Get familiar with it,
Close to it.
Like this is the only thing that you have in the entire world right now to think about.
It's just your breath,
Taking a long,
Slow,
Deep inhale and a long,
Slow exhale.
Sounds a little bit crazy,
But see if you can make your breath feel super sweet.
Just the feeling of it,
The slow motion of it,
The glide as it slides into your body.
All of the surrenders,
The relaxation,
The softening as you exhale.
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Settling into your body,
Into a quiet,
Peaceful space.
And once you're there,
Take all your attention down into your upper abdomen.
Just above your belly button,
Start to breathe into that space.
You can take a few breaths into your lower abdomen,
Into your tummy,
If that feels good,
But then pull back and just breathe into your upper tummy.
Feel the difference.
Feel that space and see if you can relax your stomach,
Soften the muscles in your stomach.
Right here is where your solar plexus,
Your chakra,
Your solar plexus chakra resides.
And you don't have to be well,
Well-knowledged about your chakras or anything like that.
Just know that this is practically the center of your being.
This is where all of your courage,
Your strength,
Your self-esteem,
Self-worth,
Your movement forward in life,
Basically comes from this place energetically in your body.
It,
Of course,
Involves the heart always.
Everything we do at some level also involves your heart space,
But mainly your solar plexus.
Take breaths into this place and start to think about a beautiful golden yellow,
If it helps you to visualize.
Maybe the yellow is wrapped around your abdomen.
Maybe the yellow is pouring in like sunshine into your tummy.
What visualization feels sweet for you to involve this yellow,
Bright golden yellow,
Which is the color of the solar plexus,
Typically seen as yellow.
Everything here,
The energies that this chakra attracts will depend entirely on your journey so far this lifetime.
It's like weighing scales.
Imagine weighing scales in the middle there that can go up and down.
Sometimes we have lots of courage and sometimes we have very little,
Depending on our circumstance,
Our life,
Our beliefs,
Our wounds,
Traumas.
Today,
Though,
We're going to make it so that we activate,
We activate,
We refuel,
We kind of recharge this part of our energy.
So,
Let's go somewhere beautiful.
Imagine in your mind that you're standing on white sands,
Soft underneath your toes.
You can feel the warmth of the sun on the sand.
The sand is so fine,
It's almost powdery.
And the beach is completely clear of anything.
There's no shells,
There's no seaweed.
It's just this perfect,
Untouched,
White,
Sandy beach.
And the ocean is crystal clear.
And there's a soft breeze coming from the ocean and you can feel it on your face and your skin.
You can smell the delicious ocean.
Just take some deep breaths and breathe in this place in your mind.
Really focus on your feet and see if you can make it as real as possible.
Whittle those beautiful toes.
Whittle your toes.
Feel the sand in your toes.
Imagine that you're walking down to the water and you're letting the water just,
Like,
Come up and move around your feet and your ankles.
And it's cool and refreshing.
It's like the perfect ocean temperature.
You can feel the life force in the ocean.
The refreshing feeling causes,
Like,
This tingling sensation to travel up through your body to make you feel awake,
More alert,
More alive.
And as you soak that in for a few breaths,
Just standing there on this peaceful,
Beautiful beach with no one else around.
And all of these sensations are just for you.
I'd like you to start to focus now on the sun in the sky.
Let it pour down on your body.
It's not too bright,
So you can stare at it and see it in all of its glory.
You can feel it on your face as you lift your face up to the sun.
You can feel it on your shoulders.
It's like the warmest,
Softest touch on your skin.
Then you start to bring purpose into this place.
Focusing once again on your upper abdomen,
Start to imagine that every time you inhale,
You're pulling the sun into the center of your being.
Like you're magnetically drawing it to you like a straw.
And all of the frequencies that are contained,
The energy that's contained in this light is pouring into your body.
Feel the golden light coming in and imagine that you're opening up this beautiful box inside of you that's allowing it to pour into your body,
To pour into this place that's your solar plexus.
And as it pours in,
It starts to fill you with strength,
Courage.
You start to expand and your body starts to feel as if it's opening so it can receive more light,
So it can allow you to feel confident and knowing.
Imagine you're just pulling all of these qualities into that which you are.
You're sucking them in and absorbing them into your being so that your solar plexus plexus fully activates,
Opens,
Receives.
The bravery and the confidence,
The knowing,
The determination,
They're all activated inside of you,
But they also pour into your heart space.
Where your chest expands,
Where your ribs start to feel as if they're opening up so that you can receive the light.
Because deep down inside,
Deep down in the reservoirs of you,
These things are going to be stored inside of you so that when you need them in anything in life,
You can call on the strength that you have inside.
You can call on the courage that's inside of you,
That's there.
Imagine you're just filling up all of the storage,
Storage units inside of your body energetically with everything that you need and then receiving it all with this big glorious smile as if to say,
I know I have it,
I know I can do it,
I know it's within me when the time comes and I need it.
This visualization,
This illusion,
This sense of receiving that you're giving yourself right now has purpose because in those dark times in the future,
Trust me,
You'll remember this and you'll call on these qualities.
Give me strength and just like magic,
It's going to release,
It's going to be there for you.
One thing that you need to do right now with me in this meditation is open up,
Receive and trust within yourself.
The most important thing is to trust in you.
Pull it all in with this confidence and knowing,
Keep breathing in the light and as your body,
Your being,
Your energy fills with this golden light,
Maybe you get flashes,
Tiny flashes of things that you've accomplished in your life so far that were challenging,
That were difficult.
Memories,
Allow them to pop in of times where you did it,
You made it,
You succeeded,
You did that hard thing.
Just let some of those memories flush in and as the light pours in all the way down to your toes,
All the way to the top of your head,
You receive it,
You accept it because you're worth it.
Take a couple of peaceful breaths with me and just feel the light inside.
In your mind,
Imagine that you're sealing all of those qualities in so that in just a few moments when I ask you to open your eyes and come back into your reality,
They're there with you.
Maybe they're deep,
Deep down inside,
But they're there.
Seal them in in your mind.
I'm going to count to three and when I get to three,
You can open your eyes and come back.
One,
Two,
Three,
Opening your eyes,
Coming back into your reality,
Your space,
Feeling this full,
Fullness of your being,
Feeling this,
Almost as if you can feel the weight of this energy inside of you.
