In this gentle children's meditation, you’ll drift to sleep on a soft bed of grass, holding two yellow balloons that carry you to Disneyland. As you float above, you absorb happiness and warmth from the world below, helping you relax and fall into a joyful, peaceful sleep.

Are you ready to meditate with Corrie?

Make sure that you're laying down in your bed and you're really,

Really comfortable.

It's time to let go of your day,

To try and relax your body so that you can fall asleep and get re-energized and feel really good tomorrow,

Full of energy,

Happy and strong.

So it's important that we get some sleep,

Right?

The first thing that you need to do though is lay down and be still,

As still as a statue.

Make sure that you're comfortable first.

So get all of your wiggles out,

Whittle your body around and move it around until you find the perfect body position that feels just right for you.

And then when you find it,

Let's try and be as still as we possibly can.

You can move if you need to.

There's no strict rules.

You won't be in trouble.

But if you can stay still,

It helps your body to start to relax a lot quicker.

And you are going to become an expert at falling to sleep fast because you're going to be really good at this.

The next thing you do is close your eyes.

Closing your eyes down,

Shutting out the rest of the world as if you're going into your own magical world inside of your mind.

I think this is the best place to be.

It's my favorite place in the world because from here we can go anywhere.

All we have to do is use our imagination and pretend and play and let's face it,

You're really good at that.

So close your eyes.

Shut out the real world.

Let's go into the magical play world inside of your mind.

The first thing that I'm going to ask you to do is imagine that you're laying down on the grass and it's a bright sunny day and the grass is soft and warm underneath your body.

It feels like a soft,

Warm,

Plush mattress.

You have both of your arms reaching up to the sky and you notice that you have string tied around your arms.

And at the end of the string there's two really big,

Bright yellow balloons as if you have two big,

Bright sunshines at the end of your arms.

The string is tied just right,

Not too tight,

Not too loose.

And these balloons are very magical balloons.

These balloons can take you wherever you want to go.

And today you want to go to Disneyland.

As you close your eyes and imagine that you're closing out the sunny sky,

You're closing out the yellow balloons and you think in your mind about your destination.

Take me to Disneyland.

You literally say that in your own mind.

And no sooner than you say it as if you're commanding it to the world,

Your arms start to feel as if they're being tugged gently,

Pulled.

You can feel the string around your wrists,

Tugging you upwards.

And as you open your eyes,

You see that your body,

The top part of your body is starting to lift up off the ground as if the balloons are sitting you up.

Slowly you relax your body and let the balloons start to pull you up as if they're standing you up.

And then the balloons start to take you up off the ground.

Feeling your feet lift up off the ground,

Feeling yourself being suspended by these two big bright yellow balloons going on a magical journey.

You start to float.

Your body gets really,

Really light.

You feel as if you're flying through the sky.

You can feel the wind and the breeze blowing through your hair,

Blowing on your face.

As you look up and look down,

You notice below the trees getting further and further away.

The houses moving further and further away.

You're rising higher and higher and you feel very safe with these balloons.

Like this is something that you do all the time.

These magical balloons are your fairy ride to wherever you want to go in the world.

And today happens to be Disneyland.

But you're going to do Disneyland from a different perspective.

You're going to do Disneyland looking down from above.

You'll be amazed at what you're going to feel.

Now,

Depending on where you live in the world,

It could take you a very long time to fly to Disneyland,

Couldn't it?

But for you,

And it being magical,

It isn't going to take very long at all.

Because all you have to do is say in your own mind,

I want to be at Disneyland in three,

Two,

One.

And as you look down from the sky,

You see the Disneyland Princess Castle,

The famous castle.

You're high up in the sky.

And as you look down below,

All the people look like tiny little ants.

Hundreds,

Maybe thousands of people down below.

You can see the rides.

You can see the different areas where there's food.

You can see the bathrooms.

You can see everything from up above.

You're not down on the ground.

You're up above,

Looking down below.

And as you look down at these tiny little people,

You realize that they're a little bit too far away.

You need to get closer.

You tell your balloons,

Let's go down.

Closer so I can see the people's faces more clearly.

And because they're your magical balloons,

They start to let you descend.

Slowly coming down out of the sky.

Just a little bit more.

Just a little bit more.

Coming lower and lower.

Until you can see the people more clearly.

And then your balloons stop and you hover there in the sky with the perfect view of Disneyland down below.

Now you tell your balloons,

I want to feel how happy everyone is down below.

I want to feel all of the people that are excited,

Happy,

Joyful,

Laughing.

I want to feel it.

Let me feel it.

The balloons blow in the wind a little bit.

And then all of a sudden,

Starting from your toes,

You start to feel a tingling sensation.

Feel it.

Feel that tingling sensation in your toes.

Lay really,

Really still.

Remember,

Still and quiet.

Feel the tingling sensation building stronger and stronger.

So it starts to trickle up your feet,

Trickle up your legs,

Trickle up all the way to the top of your legs,

Trickling up into your sit bones,

Your hips,

Your tummy,

Trickling all the way up into your throat,

Your chest,

And all the way up to the top of your head.

Until all the way through your body,

Down to your fingertips,

Down to your toes,

Up to the top of your head,

You're completely full of giggles at this overwhelming feeling of being so happy.

You feel light.

You feel open and happy and tingly all the way through your body.

Disneyland,

Joy is buzzing through your veins.

It's the bestest feeling ever because being this happy,

Laying in bed all comfortable and warm and sleepy,

Yet being this happy is the bestest way you could fall to sleep.

No worries in the world,

Just tingly,

Happy,

Joyful feelings in your body.

You can hear the giggles.

You can hear the screams of laughter.

You can hear people running and playing.

Let's go here.

Let's go there.

Oh my gosh,

This is so much fun.

Over and over and over,

The happy energy pulses through your body.

Wow,

You feel so good right now.

So happy.

So content.

This is the best feeling ever.

To feel so many people's happiness.

You start to let your body sink and get heavy.

You feel very comfortable in your bed right now.

Your feet are nice and warm.

The pillow is so soft underneath your head.

You're cozy underneath the blankets.

Maybe you have one of your squishies that you can snuggle and you have this warm,

Tingly happiness running through your entire body.

Life is really,

Really nice.

You feel sweet.

You feel happy.

You let your eyes and your face get very,

Very relaxed,

As if your eyebrows are getting super heavy.

Your balloons instinctively know that you're full to the brim of happy Disneyland feelings.

They start to take you up higher as you close your eyes and let your body float,

As if you're floating in a pool on your back,

Gently moving,

Maybe swaying a little bit.

Floating higher and higher,

Away from the noises,

Away from the crowds.

Keeping that happy,

Joyful,

Yummy feeling inside of your body the whole time.

You can feel as your body floats.

At the same time,

You get heavier.

You get sleepier.

Sleepier and sleepier.

More and more comfortable in your bed.

So safe.

So happy.

You can't help but start to really fall to sleep.

You can't open your eyes anymore.

They're so heavy.

You couldn't lift up your arms because your arms are so happy and heavy.

Your legs are so happy and heavy.

Your entire body is happy and sleepy.

Very,

Very sleepy.

You let yourself surrender to the sleep.

You surrender to that floaty,

Heavy feeling.

It's time to sleep.

Time to rest.

To refuel your body so that you're full of energy in the morning.

Sweet dreams,
