Are you ready to meditate with Kori?

For this meditation,

It's best if you lie down in your bed and get super comfortable.

Once you're comfy,

Make sure that you don't wiggle around too much.

Try and stay as still as you can,

So your body can relax and your mind can slow down.

Finn lived in a village.

He lived in a small,

Simple cottage.

It was just one story,

Two windows,

A door,

A small garden.

He had nice neighbors and everyone in the village was friendly.

Overall,

It was a very quaint place to live.

For a long time now,

Finn has been meditating.

This is something that he doesn't think many of the people in the village would understand or do themselves,

But it's something that he liked to do on a daily basis.

Finn had created an altar.

It was next to his bed in his cottage.

He had a small table with a silk scarf over it,

A bowl where he would make offerings.

He would write things in his journal sometimes and release them from his mind and burn them in his little bowl on his altar.

He burned incense right there on his altar and he had a few things he collected over the years that meant a lot to him.

Simple things like pebbles he'd found on the beach,

A pine cone he found in the forest,

Seashells,

Things that represented nature but had a good energy.

They felt good when you touched them and sometimes he would hold different ones when he sat down at his altar to pray or say positive affirmations or just meditate.

He would close his eyes and go inside and escape from the rest of the world.

Even though his village was a nice place and his cottage was a nice home,

He still had this feeling inside of himself,

A feeling that felt like somewhere else was calling his name,

As if he came from somewhere else.

And even though if he shared this with other people,

He knew he would sound strange or crazy.

That deep feeling inside of him that Earth wasn't really his home.

It just called to him every day this feeling.

It felt to Finn like something was missing in his heart.

He wasn't lonely or anything like that.

He wasn't unhappy.

He wasn't sad.

He liked his life.

But there was something in his heart.

Something that told him that he wasn't quite complete.

Something was missing.

And the closest feeling that Finn got to feeling complete was when he meditated.

Finn believed in ritual.

And what he did for his ritual was repetitive actions that created a sense of safety and calm.

That's what Finn believed was ritual.

So whenever he would sit down to meditate at his altar in his cottage,

In the quaint little village that he lived,

He always did the same things.

And that's what created his sense of ritual.

He would sit down first of all on his meditation pillow.

He'd take off his shoes and place them next to him.

Then he would always lean forward and light his candle and an incense stick.

He would look at the different objects on his altar and intuitively know which one he would like to hold while he meditated.

And he would always just let himself or his soul pick something that felt right in the moment.

Today he was holding a shell that he found on a beach five years ago.

He was rubbing his thumb across the back of the shell,

Enjoying the sensation that the ribs created,

The texture,

The feeling that he could feel as he ran his thumb backwards and forwards over it over and over again.

This in its own way created a feeling of complete focus,

Something he needed to do his meditation.

His mind and his thoughts and everything about his body focused on the sensation in his thumb.

After a few moments of this,

The next thing he did in his ritual would be to close down his eyes.

When he did so,

He always felt a shift in his focus.

It became more intense.

The sensations he felt in his thumb were more intense.

This always made him go into a state of trance,

Everything around him now dark.

Because his eyes were closed.

And he liked this feeling.

It felt really peaceful.

All the noises of his home,

The creaks,

The cracks,

The different rumbles,

The noises from outside,

Everything faded away because all of his focus and attention was right there on the sensations that he was feeling.

After a minute or two,

His next thing that he always did was imagine that there was a door in front of him.

This door,

To Finn,

Signified stepping into another reality.

He knew when he went through the door that his sense and awareness would shift once again.

He would find himself even deeper in a state of trance.

The door meant so much.

Most of the time,

The door always seemed to be the same door he would see,

A red door with panels.

A brass round doorknob on the right hand side.

It had a keyhole in it,

As if it was a front door to a home or something.

There wasn't anything fancy about this red door.

Just his red door.

Sometimes,

It would be a white door.

One time,

It was a gate,

A cast iron gate that led into a garden.

But the majority of the time,

It would be the same old red door that he saw.

And when he saw the red door,

He knew always where he would be going.

What would be on the other side of the door?

Today,

While he was doing his ritual,

He saw his red door and smiled.

In Finn's meditation ritual,

He knew that when he would be on the other side,

He would be in a place called Aton.

Aton,

He had found,

From previous visits,

Was a star system.

He'd never heard of it before,

And if he tried to research it,

He could never find any information about it.

But that was okay.

It didn't matter.

What mattered was,

This place was real to Finn.

It was as real as walking around his village.

Finn paused at the door and took a few deep breaths.

Sensing the state of his body,

He knew he was good to go.

He felt no connection to his house,

His body,

The village.

It was all blurry.

All he was focused on was his door right there in front of him,

And where he was going to.

He took a hold of the doorknob,

Opened the door,

The door pulled towards him.

He walked through the doorway and closed the door behind him.

The first thing he did was look down at his feet.

This was part of his ritual.

He wanted to make sure that he was really where he was hoping he was going.

And when he saw his feet,

He got the confirmation that he was there.

The ground underneath his feet was white marble with gold and grey veins running through it.

He felt how hard it was,

And he could feel the coldness of it.

And then he noticed his feet.

He smiled.

He had three toes,

The center toe being the longest.

This was ordinary here.

That's what all of the beings' feet looked like.

His skin was a white,

Grey complexion,

No longer human looking.

It had a hint of blue.

But if you looked and just didn't pay too much attention,

You would think he was white.

His legs were long and strong and muscular.

No hair.

He was wearing a white,

Loose garment that covered the front part of his body.

But it had long slits at the side,

All the way up,

As if what he was wearing was just like one long table runner,

With a hole in it for his head and his neck to go through,

And then a piece of gold rope tied around his waist.

His chest and his arms were very muscular,

And he had a very long neck.

His head had no hair.

There was no hair on his entire body.

It didn't even have hair follicles.

He was smooth,

Like a dolphin.

He was very handsome,

Chiseled jaw,

Strong cheekbones.

His brow was very defined,

And his head was almost cone-shaped.

Once he had established that he had the body that he required to be in this realm,

He looked forward,

Another aspect of his ritual.

And there in front of him,

She stood,

At least seven feet tall.

She looked the same as him,

With a bluish tinge,

Long and muscular and strong.

She was dressed the same as him,

And she bowed her head in acknowledgment,

Welcoming him back to Aton.

His guide,

His friend there,

Was called Nair.

Nair was the first being that he met on Aton,

At least five years ago now,

And he'd been coming to see her ever since in meditation.

She was part of his soul,

You could say like a twin,

An aspect of himself,

In the form of this beautiful,

Glorious being.

She was wise and regal,

And her presence and her energy was very overwhelming.

The very first time he met her,

He didn't know what to say,

But now he was used to her,

Because when he was there,

He had the same presence.

He had the same power,

The same energy.

Often,

They didn't speak in tongue.

They telepathically communicated with each other.

They talked using their thoughts.

He bowed his head back,

And then stared her in the eyes and connected to her.

This always took a couple of moments just to feel that deep,

Solid connection between the two of them.

Sometimes,

He would hold her hand.

Her hand was as long as his forearm,

And she had three fingers,

A thumb,

A middle finger,

And a smaller finger to the outside of her hand.

Her flesh always seemed just a little bit cool.

This always made him tingle.

They exchanged energies with their glance,

Connected.

And then,

Like always,

He would ask her questions about his life,

Things he needed to know,

How he should go about doing something,

What he needed to do to grow,

To change,

To evolve.

And she would tell him.

She always knew exactly what he needed.

Sometimes,

He would just ask questions about her,

Why she was in his life,

What did she believe in,

What was her home like,

What were her people like,

Why were they here,

Why was she helping him?

He found out that if people are awake,

If they are open,

Enlightened,

If their vibrational energy was in the right place,

That they could connect to all beings.

The path had to be right.

Their journey had to be right.

The timing.

People on Earth have to have shared all of their heaviness,

All of the things that weigh us down.

There has to be enough space in ourselves to adapt and accept higher wisdom.

If our closets are full,

There's no room for growth and change and new ways of being.

We have to clean out our mental closet.

Our hearts have to be purified,

Ready to accept,

To unconditionally love and accept.

But the beings at Aton are waiting patiently.

They're open and ready to help us whenever we need them to.

Naya had been helping Finn grow and change and fill the hole in his heart,

That thing that he had inside of him that made him feel,

That part of his heart that made him yearn for home.

Yet he didn't know what home was.

He didn't know what was missing.

But when he was with Naya,

He knew.

She made him feel like he was home.

She gave him the deep connection he was yearning for.

He would always close his ritual by saying his thanks to Naya.

They would bow and touch each other's foreheads for a moment or two.

And then he would come back through the door,

Count to three,

And open his eyes,

Finding himself sat in his cottage,

On his meditation pillow,

In front of his altar.

He would take a few moments to write all of the information that she shared with him in his journal that he kept on the shelf underneath his altar.

He always dated it so he could look back and remember and have a time frame to refer to.

And then he would close his eyes once again and do a simple meditation of gratitude,

Thinking of all the things that he loved in his life,

All the things that he could be grateful for about his home,

His village,

His family.

And friends.

And then he would open his eyes and blow out his candle and go about his regular life here on Earth,

Living and breathing in this material world.

Being Finn,

Just a nice,

Friendly guy that everyone knows in the village,

Looking as ordinary as everyone else.

Other than the fact that he talked to alien beings from Matan almost every day,

But that wasn't anything special.

As far as Nya is concerned,

Everyone can do that.

They just have to be ready.
