Are you ready to meditate with Kari?
For this meditation make sure that you're laying down in a comfortable position.
Take everything and make sure you won't be disturbed.
Move your arms away from your body slightly.
Place the palms of your hands down towards the ground if you feel like you need to connect and receive energy from Mother Earth.
Now turn your hands over with the palms facing the ceiling,
Ready to receive connection and guidance from the spiritual side of the world.
Close your eyes if you haven't done so already.
This whole guided meditation is designed for you to deeply relax.
It's designed so that you can let go of your day,
Let go of your world,
The worries and the responsibilities that you're currently holding.
This meditation is your time to just disappear for a while and completely relax.
Focus on your breath.
Breathe in and breathe out and be aware of the sensations in your body as you do this.
Your whole intention right now is to let go of the world around you and focus on your physical body.
So if thoughts come to mind about your day or about tomorrow or about anything that you have to do,
I want you to simply bring your thoughts back to your breath and the feelings that you're experiencing inside of your body that your breath are creating.
So your breath and your body is a distraction from the mind and all the thoughts that are popping in and popping out,
Which is a constant.
But the trick is to pay no attention to those thoughts.
Just let them go.
Don't attach to them.
Don't go down the rabbit hole with them.
Soon as you grab a thought that pulls your attention,
Then you pull yourself back to your breath.
Take longer,
Slower,
Deeper breaths now.
Start to really control your body and your mind simply by breathing in deeper.
Feel how the body starts to respond and relax.
Your breath is your compass.
You breathe fast and shallow and your body will respond and feel like you're in some kind of fear state,
Fight or flight state.
When you do the opposite and you breathe like you're breathing now,
Long,
Slow,
Deep breaths,
The mind receives the message and sends signals to the rest of your body that you're safe and you can relax.
Everything is good in the world.
Whenever you're feeling yourself getting stressed in your daily life,
Whether it's at work or with your children or with your partner,
Gift yourself the gift of longer,
Slower,
Deeper breaths.
It will help you to gain some clarity.
It will help you to feel some inner peace,
Help you to calm down quickly just by using your breath.
Put all of your focus and attention on your head.
Allow your head to get heavy in your pillow.
You don't have to hold your head up right now.
You can just let it completely relax.
Notice how every time you breathe out,
Your head gets just a little bit heavier and a little bit deeper into your pillow.
Feels nice.
It feels nice to latch your head completely relaxed.
Relax the muscles around your eyes.
Be aware of any tightness in your forehead and just relax those muscles.
Imagine any tension is just melting away.
Soften your face.
Relax your jaw.
Focus on your earlobes and even try and relax your ears,
Your temples,
Your scalp.
Breathe into your shoulders and allow your shoulders to soften.
Pull them away from your neck.
Pull them down and allow them to relax deeper into the ground or the bed or the sofa that you're laying on.
Pull them down and relax them and let them get heavy.
Very,
Very heavy.
Allow the relaxation that you feel in your shoulders to start to slowly roll down your arms all the way down to your elbows,
From your elbows down to your wrists,
All the way to the tips of your fingers.
Let your arms feel very sleepy and heavy and relaxed.
Just lay still and quiet.
Give your body this space to rejuvenate,
To rebuild and heal.
Even if you don't go to sleep right now,
Your body is soaking in this relaxation that's It's healing all of the cells,
The muscles,
The bones.
Allow the muscles across your chest to soften and relax.
When you breathe out,
Just let them go deeper.
Let them get heavy.
Your ribs,
Your lungs,
Your heart,
All relax.
The muscles in your abdomen soften.
Everything is feeling heavy now.
Everything is starting to feel deliciously heavy and safe and peaceful.
The top of your back,
The middle of your back,
The base of your spine,
All relax.
Breathe into your hips.
Breathe down deep into your legs.
Your legs feel so heavy.
Like you're wearing big,
Heavy clothes or you're laying under a big,
Comfortable,
Heavy blanket.
It's weighing you down but it feels comforting,
Relaxing.
Like you're being hugged.
Just allow your legs to get heavy.
Allow them to sink deeper and deeper into the air.
Your feet and your body,
Your hands,
Your arms,
Everything feels like it has a slight tingling sensation running through it.
The relaxation feels so nice.
It's like you're heavy but at the same time you're not.
You could float away if you wanted to.
You could float like a balloon up into the sky.
Just leave the world down below,
Flying up into your own space.
You feel free,
Completely free.
Flying higher and higher,
Going on a journey to wherever your mind or your heart wants to take you.
Breathe into your hips.
Breathe down deep into your legs.
Breathe higher and higher,
Going on a journey to wherever your mind or your heart wants to take you.
Breathe down deep into your legs.
Breathe down deep into your legs.
Breathe down deep into your legs.
Breathe down deep into your legs.
Breathe down deep into your legs.
Breathe down deep into your legs.
Breathe down deep into your legs.
Breathe down deep into your legs.
Breathe down deep into your legs.

Love Cory! But the background music in this one was too stimulating for me to sleep... itβs okay- I will go to her many others that always relax me off to sleep! I have to say, I just listened to this meditation again and it worked perfectly I feel so relaxed right now! I just turn down the volume a little bit lower and it was amazing thank you!
