My name is Kari.
Let's sit together in this meditation and drop in.
Make sure that your spine is nice and straight.
And then close off your eyes.
Start by taking a really big,
Deep,
Exaggerated breath.
Breathe all the way in and then breathe out and really let go.
Let your shoulders fall forward.
Let your chest concave.
Again,
Do that for me.
Really big,
Exaggerated breath.
Really deep,
Really big.
And then breathe out and just flop into it.
Like a cleansing reset button.
And then straighten your spine once again.
Adjust your body.
Relax your hands on your lap.
And just resume a normal,
Gentle,
Slow pace to your breath.
I like to do a drop-in meditation.
I just close my eyes and go inside and feel what's going on.
When everything goes quiet,
I can listen.
That's what we're going to do today.
Just start to feel into what your breath feels like,
What it's doing inside of your body.
How it moves things around on the inhale and the exhale.
These movements,
Rhythmic,
We can't stop them.
We can't stop our breath for too long.
There's a wave going on inside of us constantly.
An in and out of the tide.
But how often do we just sit and really feel it,
Tune into it.
And as you quieten everything down and feel into your breath,
You'll start to notice different parts of your body wanting to communicate with you.
The parts of your body are holding languages like our dreams is a whole other language,
Another way for our soul or our higher self to communicate with us.
Our body does the same thing.
So when you listen and drop in,
You start to hear what your subconscious mind may be telling you through your body.
Going into the different aches and pains in your body.
What's that left knee trying to say?
What's your lower back being repeatedly trying to tell you?
There's a language in there.
If you drop in often enough,
You'll start to hear what your body is saying.
But it can take practice.
If you feel the overall vibration of your body,
The overall energy of where you are right now in this moment,
There's emotions going on in there.
The thoughts that you're thinking create emotions.
Those emotions have material energy connected to them.
They vibrate at a certain pace,
Which creates feelings inside of our body.
A lot of emotion is stored in the centre of your chest,
In your heart and in your heart centre.
And again,
Another place is your abdomen.
We have all of our thoughts,
Feelings,
Emotions funnel through the centre of our being and that is in your abdomen.
And those thoughts,
Feelings and emotions are normally attracted through our different chakras and the hundreds of different energy centres within us and around us.
If you drop in and go quiet,
You'll start to feel different emotions that you have inside of you that you probably weren't even aware that you were carrying.
Go silent with me and check into your heart space.
What's going on there today?
What do you feel?
What sensations are present?
Notice if your heart feels open or if it feels closed,
Tight or heavy.
Check in with your stomach.
Drop down and feel the energy inside of your tummy.
Is there burning sensations?
Is there fluttering?
Is your tummy tight?
Does it feel like it's in defence mode?
A wall between your tummy and the world?
How does it feel relaxed and calm,
Open?
Drop into the base of your spine.
What's going on there?
Be aware of the sensations in your sit bones connected to your chair or the earth or the pillow beneath you.
What's travelling up your spine?
What does the general sensation of your entire body feel like today?
Zoom away,
Pull away and feel all of yourself.
As if you're stepping back to see the whole picture.
What colour do you vibrate today?
What colour do you need?
What colour can you pull towards you today that's going to heal and feed your being?
Drop in.
Always come back to your breath when you feel as if you're being pulled away,
Distracted by different thought patterns,
Something that you need to do the next day,
Whatever it is.
Pull yourself back into this moment right now and use your breath for that.
Your breath is your anchor,
It's your constant.
Like the North Star,
You can always find your way back to peace,
Back to quiet,
Back to feeling centred.
When you feel into your breath,
When you take the time to just drop in for a moment,
Feel where you're at.
Grab the rush,
Stop all the distractions,
Stop everything that doesn't really matter and just drop in to you.
The most important person you have in this experience here on Earth.
And that's it,
That's all you have to do.
You don't have to sit here for hours,
Just a few minutes with me.
To just drop into where you're at right now in this moment.
Namaste,
My friend.
