Welcome to this mindful morning meditation.
Positioning yourself into a comfortable seated position that allows your spine to be beautifully straight,
Your crown open to the sky.
Perhaps sat in a chair or cross-legged on the floor with your head over your heart,
In your heart over your pelvis.
And when you're ready gently closing down the eyes.
Tuning into your environment in the space surrounding you,
Using your senses,
Noticing the position that you are in,
And noticing your position in relation to the space that you're in.
And bringing your awareness to sense of touch and noticing what parts of your body are touching a surface or anything that is touching you.
And then you're going to notice the presence of your body or anything that is touching your skin.
Noticing the temperature of the air on your skin.
Notice any breeze.
Awareness moving to your sense of taste.
Noticing what is there without labeling or judgment.
Becoming aware of any corresponding aromas at the tips of your nostrils.
Again,
Releasing the need to judge or label anything.
And awareness moving to your senses.
And being aware of the space behind your closed eyes.
Noticing what you can see,
Any colors or darkness.
Awareness tuning into the sounds in your space.
Allowing your whole body to listen to the sounds of your body.
As they arise one by one.
And awareness traveling to your mind.
And noticing what your mind is doing.
Is it with thought?
If so,
Noticing what types of thoughts.
And seeing if you can come back to the anchor of the senses.
Allowing the thought to gently drift downstream like a leaf on water.
Not judging the thoughts,
Just noticing what they are.
Noticing what you can see.
Noticing what you can see.
Noticing what they are.
And each time seeing if you can let it go.
Let the thought drift downstream.
No judgment here,
Just creating an awareness for the quality of your mind in this moment.
Knowing your brain is doing what brains do.
And if you can,
Seeing if you can,
Allow those thoughts in your mind to become like water,
Like a liquid.
Expanding and flowing.
And allowing that water to dissolve downstream into your heart space.
And just noticing any sensations you can feel here.
Perhaps a gentle beating of your heart.
Or the gentle rise and fall of your chest as you breathe in and out.
And becoming aware of any emotion that may be in this space.
Not judging,
Just allowing whatever is present to be as it is.
And gently allowing your heart space to dissolve into your body.
Expanding your awareness out.
Opening your awareness to include your body.
And noticing any sensations here.
And once more feeling into your body.
And once more feeling into the ground below you.
Rooted into the earth.
Head open to the sky.
In alignment.
And visualising a ray of sunlight.
Glistening down over your face,
Your shoulders and your body.
And taking an inhale into the mind.
And releasing.
And inhale into your heart space.
Releasing.
And an inhale into your body.
And releasing.
And saying to yourself,
I am whole.
And if it feels okay,
Bringing hands to your heart centre.
And I hope that you managed to take some peace into your mind,
Heart and body on this day.
