A long time meditator, she discovered mindfulness many years ago as a solution for her own life/health and is in awe of its transformative effects. She trained in MBSR, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at UMass Medical School Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Healthcare & Society, and in mindfulness for youth at Mindful Schools. A MSW/LSW, she's the mother of 3, a former performing/visual artist, an avid explorer and nature lover.
