This guided meditation is to encourage you to let go of anything that doesn't serve you. Starting with connecting with yourself, guided imagery, and finishing with some loving affirmations. This meditation is to help encourage a much deeper connection to yourself and your presence in your life.

Hello and welcome to our meditation for today.

Today's meditation is going to be all about letting go,

About connecting inwards,

Seeing what no longer serves us and allowing ourselves to shed that,

To release it.

So to begin,

Bring yourself into a comfortable position and you can decide if you'd like to be seated or you'd like to be lying down.

Readjusting and moving until you feel comfortable.

Then when you're ready,

Closing down the eyes,

Taking this time here to connect with your body,

To feel the body as a whole.

Notice how it feels right now.

Notice it in the space you're in.

Then begin to listen to the sound of your breath.

Listening to the hush of the exhale.

Letting that guide you into your body.

Feel with your breath.

Bring yourself inwards.

Noticing what is alive in you right now.

Noticing what feelings,

What emotions are there.

Noticing how your mind feels.

Does the mind feel busy?

Are there any thoughts that keep popping up?

With your breath,

Allowing it to deepen.

Allowing the breath to fully inhale and fully exhale.

Letting that hush of the exhale soothe.

Soothe your mind.

Soothe your body.

Let it calm.

Let it ease.

Let it soothe every bit of tension that may be living within you right now.

Relaxing your full body.

Relaxing your feet.

Your legs.

Relaxing your hips.

Your glutes.

Your stomach.

Your lower back.

Your chest.

Shoulder blades.

Shoulders.

And all down the arms.

Right to the palms.

Right to the fingertips.

Feel as this gentle wave of calmness travels through your full body.

Through the neck and into the head.

The space between your eyebrows and your jaw.

Feel as if this wave of still,

Of calm,

Of loving,

Pure energy flows through your full being.

Feeling that you are safe in this space.

That you are grounded and you are connected.

Safe here.

In your mind,

See yourself walking on a sandy beach.

There is no one around.

Just you.

The sky.

The sea.

Just you and the nature that is present.

Notice what you can see here.

Notice the colours in abundance around you.

Notice the smells.

The smells of the sea.

The salt.

The sound of the waves.

Of the birds.

In this blissful scene.

Walking barefoot through the sand.

You find a place to sit.

You look beside you and notice that there is a piece of paper.

There is a pen.

You know that this paper,

This pen,

Is here for you.

You pick it up.

You can feel the sun radiating onto your skin.

You feel this warm energy.

You feel connected.

On the paper it asks,

What brings you joy?

This question being asked by your higher self.

What is it that brings you joy?

What radiates joy from you?

What lights up your soul?

The paper asks,

What feels heavy in you right now?

What doesn't feel so great?

Where in your life are there instances or places that don't radiate that same joy?

That contract?

Ask yourself this now.

See yourself writing this down.

Writing down what you'd like to let go of.

What makes you feel the opposite of joy?

See those things written on this paper.

Notice how it makes you feel thinking about these things.

Notice the difference in your body compared to when you thought about joy.

You look up from the paper and you see a figure emerging from the sea.

This figure is glowing with radiant golden light.

As this figure moves closer to you,

You begin to recognize them.

You see their body.

You see their face.

You see that this figure,

This person is your higher self.

Radiating,

Glowing with warm,

Vibrant energy.

Your higher self asks you to come over to meet them.

You stand up with that paper and walk over to your higher self.

They ask,

Are you ready to let this go?

You agree.

Your higher self takes this piece of paper and places it in the sea.

You see the water dissolving.

This paper letting go of these things.

See them melt away.

Your higher self takes your hand and guides you into the sea.

Feel this cool water brush over your skin,

Cleansing you,

Bringing you this fresh energy.

Stay here and let yourself bathe and be cleansed in the sea,

In the water.

You rinse the water over your face,

Over your hair.

You feel light,

Expansive,

Joyful and playful.

You look down and notice that like your higher self,

You're radiating with this golden light.

Your higher self looks at you and reminds you there is power in letting go.

There is beauty in letting go.

Every moment you have the choice.

You can let go of the grip.

You can free yourself from that.

Breathe that in.

Let it out.

You thank your higher self.

Embrace them and see them go into the distance.

You feel like you're walking out from the sea.

You feel as if a weight has been lifted.

As if this is a new fresh start,

A new beginning,

A place to move forward.

You allow yourself to leave all that no longer serves you behind in that ocean,

In that sea.

Leave it there.

You sit back down on the sand and remember what it feels like to be radiating with joy,

To be aligned,

To feel free.

Take a big inhale here.

And exhale,

Let it out.

One more time.

Slowly bring your attention back to your body,

Back to who it is in this moment.

Begin to come back by wiggling the fingers,

Wiggling the toes,

Releasing through a sigh.

Bring one hand onto your heart and one onto the belly.

Say the following words aloud or in your mind.

I am free to let go.

I am free to release.

I choose to lovingly leave behind all that no longer serves me.

I am truth.

I am love.

I am divine.

Then open up your eyes,

Come back to the space that you're in.

That is our meditation finished.
