So we begin here by closing down your eyes as we center your mind and your heart with three intentional breaths.
Taking a deep inhale in here,
Holding at the top.
And release.
Breathing deeper into your lower belly as you draw the air in,
Feeling the intensity of expansion.
And release.
Forcing yourself to remain empty here as you pause.
And inhale,
With a brief hold.
And exhale.
Feeling as if every cell within you has softened and centered.
Noticing how your heartbeat is steady.
There is an internal knowing that there is always another breath.
Here inside this practice we call meditation.
Under the energy of another new moon,
We turn our focus to the gentle rhythm of the body breathing.
This season of life helps us better understand our true selves.
As we explore collective themes of traditions,
Family,
Nurturing,
And home life.
Cancer is like a moonlit night,
Shining in times of complete darkness and bringing comfort to those around.
We collectively take a deep breath in here.
And exhale,
As you once again sink down a little deeper still.
The Cancer New Moon is a time to lay out your intentions for how you want to feel at home and within yourself.
As I begin to ask you a few questions,
Your only job is to listen.
To answer truthfully.
And to trust the answers you hear.
How do you nurture yourself at home?
Serene,
Creative,
Inspired,
Playful.
How do you want to feel when you are at home?
What can you change to create that environment for yourself?
What can you do to make yourself feel more nurtured and cared for?
Cancer is a cardinal sign.
And cardinal energy is initiative energy.
This type of energy helps you begin new endeavors,
Traditions,
New routines,
And self-care rituals.
We conclude this practice here by speaking a few intentions to the new moon.
