To look upon ourselves as the miracles we are,
And a thing of true beauty,
To take time from doing and becoming,
To simply look and to really see our true reflections and all the beauty we hold within.

Sit in a quiet place where you feel at peace,
And face your palms upward,
So your body and mind are open to receive,
And once you feel centered,
Take your first deep inhale in,
And exhale as you welcome a softening,
Inhale as the air opens and expands through you,
And exhale as you let it all go.
I'm going to begin today's session with a poem by Hafiz.
You don't have to act crazy anymore,
We all know you are good at that.
Now retire,
My dear,
From all that hard work you do,
Of bringing pain to your sweet eyes and heart.
Look in a clear mountain mirror,
See the beautiful ancient warrior and the divine elements you always carry inside,
That infused this universe with sacred life so long ago,
And join you,
Eternally,
With all existence.
Take a deep breath in,
And exhale,
And just continue to rest as you are,
And start to recognize that you need nothing.
In this moment,
We often forget we are human beings infused with life,

To take time from doing and becoming,
To simply look,
And to really see our true reflections,
And all the beauty that we hold within.
You cannot see your reflection in boiling water,
And similarly,
You cannot see the truth when your body or your mind is in a dysregulated state,
It is when you take intentional moments out of your day,
To be still,
To allow the water inside of your soul to calm.
It is then where you can begin to see with clarity,
The power to calm the water of your soul is yours,
It's either going to boil over as you add heat,
Or it's going to settle.
So take a deep breath in,
And exhale as you let yourself go a little more still.
You need nothing in this moment to calm your mind,
Other than a body that breathes,
And the air that flows freely into your lungs and out again.
Feel your breath,
Feel the way your heart beats for just a moment,
Feel the natural rhythm of calm that exists between them,
Notice how your breath feels soft and settled now,
And feel the way your body comes into security,
And comfort,
And regulation,
When you come back to the beauty within.
Take a deep belly breath in,
And exhale,
The only person who can ever calm your waters is you,
The decision is yours,
It's always yours.
Take a final deep breath in,
And exhale,
As you recognize the calmness inside of you.
Can you see your reflection clearly?
When you are ready,
Open your eyes and return to the room around you.
