Explore MeditationAlexandra Amor is a lifelong explorer of what it means to be human. For over 15 years Alexandra has been writing both fiction and non-fiction books, all with the themes of love, connection, and the search for understanding. She began her writing career with an award-winning memoir about ten years she spent in a cult in the 1990s. Alexandra has a deep sense of empathy for those who struggle with unwanted habits because for 30-plus years she did as well. Then, in 2017 she discovered a paradigm of understanding our human experience that focuses on our well being, rather than our perceived brokenness. This understanding radically changed Alexandra’s experience of her overeating habit and for the first time in her adult life she is habit free. With gentle kindness and deep, personal insight into what creates unwanted habits, Alexandra guides others to: - Reconnect with the wisdom that has always been within them; - Let go of the thinking that makes unwanted habits sticky; and, - Awaken to the universal intelligence that is always speaking to us, including through our habits like overeating.
