Hello,
My name is Clover Norton and I'm a mindfulness and meditation teacher and this is a short meditation on gratitude.
So if you can just find a comfortable place either seated or lying down and then slowly close the eyes or keep them open if that feels comfortable for you.
I'd like you to take a moment to just focus on your breath.
Just explore the sensation of breathing in the body.
We're not trying to change anything,
We're not trying to lengthen the breath,
Just exploring the sensation of breathing coming in and out of the body.
I'd like you to visualise the word gratitude in your mind's eye.
Gratitude.
And when we visualise this word gratitude,
It reminds us to thank the universe for all that is good in your life.
Gratitude is a humbling and powerful quality.
It is a state of mind that blesses everything and everyone around you.
There is so much in your life to be thankful for.
From the shoes on your feet,
To your family,
Friends,
Sunrises,
Spring,
Autumn,
Opportunities,
Abundance,
Experiences and so on.
You are blessed in so many ways.
You are blessed.
Can you bring awareness to your blessings and reside here in this space of appreciation and gratitude for everything you have in your life?
And take a moment to just thank the universe for everything that is provided for you right now.
Right now.
In this moment.
In this precious moment.
The moment you've never had before and you'll never get again.
Right now.
