This is a meditation based on the affirmation courage.
Find a comfortable position seated or lying down,
Whichever feels right for you.
And as you settle into this position,
Just bring your awareness to the breath.
Noticing how the tummy rises and falls without effort.
Connect with the natural rhythm of your breath.
Close your eyes or keep them open.
I'd like you to visualise the word courage.
And just notice the curve of the C.
The circular shape of the O.
The U.
R.
A.
The shape of the G.
And the E.
And just notice the strength of this affirmation courage.
Have courage in your daily life and you will have the strength and confidence to confront everything that the day might bring.
Courage is needed to achieve,
To make changes,
To take risks and to live life to the full.
With courage you are fearless,
Focused and determined.
At any time,
Any day,
Any moment that you need to call upon courage,
Visualise that word.
And may it be a reminder that you are an amazing person who can take on any challenge with dignity and integrity.
Courage.
Remember you can call upon courage whenever you need it.
It is always there for you.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes and feel and acknowledge the courage and strength within you.
