Thank you for joining me,

Cindy Wolk Weiss,

For Awareness of Being meditation.

Mindfulness is present moment awareness without judgment and with great kindness towards ourselves and others.

When we dwell in this moment,

We begin to note that it has no center,

No real boundaries.

So find a comfortable place to sit or lie down and get really comfy.

Begin to become aware of your body,

Its sensations,

And the areas which are making contact with chair,

Cushion,

Couch,

Or floor.

Actually inhabit your body as you sit or lie here.

It's not separate from you.

It is your home,

Your sanctuary.

Know that the body is sitting,

Is breathing,

And is experiencing this moment right here,

Right now.

Note the sensation of the body breathing,

Breath flowing in and breath flowing out.

Touch the breath as a butterfly touches a flower.

Gently following your breath in and following your breath out.

When fully here,

We are not separate from our breath,

Our body,

Or our mind and thoughts.

As we inhabit awareness,

The separation between the object and subject dissipates.

Allow this moment just to be with wholeness,

Sensing your entire being.

Awareness of whatever it is that arises.

Shift awareness from the self-centered eye and invite pure awareness.

Know that there is simply knowing,

Seeing,

Feeling,

Thinking.

Note what sweeps you away from wholeness,

Perhaps emotions such as anger,

Fear,

Or sadness,

Which make us feel separate.

Touch these emotions gently and kindly and remember that all people experience emotions.

You are not alone.

As you allow all to be present,

Your awareness expands.

Held in a soft body.

Opening heart,

Soft belly.

Invite awareness to expand out in all directions from the center localized within you.

Invite a full presence of awareness as the breath flows in and the breath flows out.

Note the ability to allow the impersonal to be present.

Note the desire to cling to I,

Me,

Or mine.

Allow emptiness.

Allow wholeness.

Continue relationship.

You can't have one without the other.

Awareness of body.

Awareness of body breathing.

Breath flowing in,

Breath flowing out.

Existence being with all that is in spacious awareness.

May you be blessed with ease.
