Welcome.

Please begin by finding a nice tall seat anywhere that you wish.

If you are seated in a chair,

Feel your feet on the earth.

And if you're seated somewhere where your legs are crossed,

Just noticing your sitting bones rooting down into the ground.

Allow your eyes to close and just begin by softening the inner and outer corners of your eyes.

Unfurrow your brow and allow your breath to soften.

I want you to bring your awareness to your two sitting bones.

These are the bones that you can feel through the flesh of your buttocks on either side of your body.

And I want you to imagine these are like prongs on a plug of an electrical cord.

So you're actually going to use your sit bones to plug yourself into the earth.

And as you root down into the ground or into your chair or couch or wherever you may be seated with the same amount of effort,

I invite you to rise up through the central channel of your spine,

Lengthening through the very crown of your head.

And as you're anchored through your seat,

Through your sit bones,

Feel yourself tethered to the earth and the breath allowing this buoyancy through again the central channel of your spine.

That's lengthening up even high above the crown of the head.

I want you to bring your awareness to your root.

In Sanskrit,

The area between your pubic bone and two sit bones is called Mooladhara chakra.

There's a beautiful red orb here.

And if you're not sure or unclear,

Don't worry.

Your imagination is perfect.

See what you can notice about this red orb.

The quality of the color,

The richness,

The lightness,

Whether or not it's vibrant or dull,

Whether it seems lackluster or radiant.

And again,

This is without any judgment,

You're just observing like a scientist with curiosity and wonder.

So from this place in your body,

I want you to imagine that you can extend a red cord out through your root,

Down through the layers of the building that you might be in until you penetrate the topsoil and then the clay and the rock.

And you take this red cord and you travel all the way down,

Down,

Down to the center of the earth.

And at the center of the earth,

You can choose to anchor yourself by other penetrating the core of the earth with kind of like an anchor attached to the bottom of your cord.

Or you might choose to tie yourself up like you would tie a boat to a dock.

This beautiful turn and twist of your rope so that is secure.

And just use your breath to travel the length of this rope up and down.

You might notice that your pelvis and your legs get heavier.

Just allow yourself to be received by the earth.

Feel your toes,

The soles and tops of your feet,

Your ankles,

Your calves and shins,

Your knees,

The fronts and backs of your thighs,

And finally the beautiful basin of your pelvis.

So as you are tethered to the center of the earth,

Bring your awareness to the basin of your pelvis.

And I want you to imagine for a moment that it's this rich soil of the earth,

Like you've planted yourself down.

That the basin of your pelvis is this pot full of fertile soil where anything that you plant will grow.

Press down through your sit bones a little bit more and then allow the stock of your spine to rise up out of the rich soil of your pelvis.

Coming all the way up,

Up,

Up through the crown of your head.

Once you rise up above the crown of your head,

Notice it flower into an exquisite bloom.

Notice the bloom's openness or closeness.

Notice its shade,

Hue and size.

Notice fragrance,

Its texture.

And again,

Without judgment,

You want to gaze upon this part of yourself with innocence.

For just a few breaths,

Notice your aliveness in this moment,

Your connection to the earth,

Your reaching towards the sun and the stars.

See if you can allow yourself all over all your skin to become semi-permeable.

Where with each breath you expand and soften.

Which with each breath,

Your inner radiance grows and illuminates.

See if you can rest in the deep knowing of ease.

Held between earth and sky.

Alive,

Each and every cell of your body vibrating.

Full of vitality,

Breath and radiance.

I invite you to stay even a little bit longer than you want to.

Feeling your vibration,

Your resonance,

Your grace.

By going one step further,

We increase our capacity and we get to surprise ourselves.

So stay with your interconnectedness.

Stay with your breath.

Stay with your vibrance and remain in your true divine nature as long as you need.

May you always walk in beauty and go with grace.
