To take a moment to settle yourself into your body,
Noticing the surface beneath you,
Noticing your breath,
Noticing your body,
How it feels right now.
Now,
Take a longer and slower,
Deeper breath than usual and allow the exhale to happen naturally.
Do this a couple of times,
Allowing your body to become a little more present,
A little more relaxed.
Relaxed.
Noticing any areas of tension as you do this and breathing into any area of tension.
Notice your body in relation to the room that you're in or maybe you're listening outside in nature and just feel your whole body,
Noticing the body in relation to the space and feel this presence start to arrive,
Just you here now with no labels,
No roles or responsibilities,
No boundaries,
No stories,
No identities,
Just the real you,
The authentic you.
And in the busyness of our lives,
Our attention gets pulled outward,
All the expectations and responsibilities,
All the comparisons and the pressure to keep going.
All this can teach us to prioritize all of these things external from us.
We prioritize what others need from us.
We people please,
We push through and we ignore our own signals,
Our own wants,
And we do this to cope sometimes.
We do it to succeed in a world that we believe wants something from us and this is just a natural response to our modern world,
To the busyness of life.
Reconnecting with yourself,
With your authentic self,
Just means allowing the real you to shine through and let's affirm that with the following statement that you can repeat to yourself,
I allow myself to be who I am.
And just notice how your body feels when you say that statement,
I allow myself to be who I am.
And just imagine all of the expectations and pressures and opinions gently and softly move away from you.
You don't need to push them.
You just allow a space to form between you and them and as that space opens up just notice how your energy feels,
Maybe more open,
Lighter,
More settled,
Or maybe just more you.
Bring your attention back to your breath,
In and out,
And with each breath feel yourself returning more and more to your natural self,
Not forced,
You don't need to edit yourself,
Just feeling calm and at ease,
Repeating the words,
I am enough exactly as I am.
I am enough exactly as I am.
And allow that,
Those words,
That sense of authenticity spread through your body,
From your chest,
Into your shoulders,
Down your arms,
Into your hands,
I am enough exactly as I am.
And feel it move into your belly and your hips,
Down into your legs and feet,
I am enough exactly as I am.
And let it rise through your chest,
Into your neck,
Into your face,
Your full head,
And allow it to spread through your whole body,
I am enough exactly as I am.
Allow your whole body to carry this truth,
This real,
Grounded,
Authentic sense of self.
And just sit with that truth for another moment,
Breathing it in,
Allowing it settle,
Take home,
Remember this is who you truly are,
This is the real you,
And know that you can return to this feeling at any time,
In conversations,
In meetings,
In decisions,
Your authentic self is always available to you.
And take a final big deep breath in,
And exhale,
And remember to have a beautiful inner day.
Thanks for joining me.
