Make yourself as comfortable as you possibly can,
Doing your best to keep your spine straight and relaxing fully into this present moment.
Maybe imagining waves of relaxation starting at the crown of your head,
Rippling down your spine,
Down your legs,
And reaching the soles of your feet until your whole body feels like one big wave of relaxation.
Feeling the gentle flow of your breath in and out,
Allowing your shoulders to drop,
Unsettling fully into your body.
Now shift your focus to the center of your chest where your heart lives.
Maybe feeling this area warming up as you place your attention there.
And bring to mind someone in your life who makes you feel very safe.
This could be a family member,
A close friend,
A child,
Maybe even a pet.
When you are around them,
You feel completely free to be yourself,
To feel whatever you are feeling,
To say whatever you are thinking,
And to delight in each and every moment with them.
Recall now in vivid detail a specific memory from your past that you have with this person in your life who makes you feel so safe.
Maybe it was a walk that you took together,
A meal that you shared,
A trip that you took,
Or simply an afternoon of talking and laughing.
Bring to mind the sounds of that moment,
The sights,
And especially how you were feeling to be around that beloved being in that cherished memory.
Remember how good it felt in your body to be with that person in that moment of your life.
Feeling and feeling that they loved you unconditionally for exactly who you are,
And that you felt only love and acceptance from their presence.
Now let the memory of that person fade away from your mind,
And bring to mind what you are desiring in a sacred partnership in your life.
What kind of person would you like to have by your side to light up your soul and to share life's precious moments with?
Now feel yourself being filled with a sense of trust.
Know that you can trust yourself and your intuition to make wise and conscious choices with love and relationships.
You can trust yourself going forward to become involved only with people who make you feel very safe.
As safe as you did with that loved one that you brought to mind earlier in the meditation.
Notice that you will also feel emotionally safe around your sacred partner from the first moment that they find their way into your life.
Now visualize a particular moment with your sacred partner that you would like to share.
This could be a hallmark event,
Such as the day that you introduce them to your family and friends,
A first date,
A first anniversary together,
Or it could be an everyday event like cooking a meal together in your home,
Enjoying a night out together,
Or simply spending time together at home.
Bring to mind that future event with as much detail as you possibly can.
Feeling in your body how comfortable you are around this person,
How good you feel,
And how very safe you feel with them,
Knowing that they can take care of your heart and cherish you the way you have always deserved to be cherished.
Take a moment to anchor that feeling of safety in your body and the trust that you feel in yourself and in your intuition that you will make the wise choices you need to make in order to find your way to this great love.
Now let that vision fade away from your mind and simply come back to your body,
To your breathing,
Feeling the gentle wave of every inhale and exhale of your breath,
And feeling calm,
Centered,
And very safe as you take one last deep cleansing breath,
Open your eyes,
And come back into the room.
